Tried to give this location a couple tries, but now marking this as a major pass. Visit #1, I went to the cashier and she did not know how to key in a mobile offer. I said it was no problem, and ordered via the app. I moved to the pick up area right after, but after 10 min, nothing was put down. I thought to myself, an Americano with no one else in line or ordering should not take 10 min. There was a cup in a display area, no sticker with my name was showing because they covered it with a sleeve and no receipt was visible. Only then when I was hovering around the counter did one of the 5 employees point out that was my drink. It was a cold Americano by the time I sat down. I stayed in the coffee shop and was able to get a pike roast free refill on this day.
Visit #2. I made a mobile order and it was clear the first time, the girl did not follow procedures. This time, the barista attached a receipt with my name and clipped it below my drink, making it very noticeable that it was mine and ready for pickup (👍🏼). I stayed in the shop again to enjoy the wifi and drink, then went to get the free refill as I did on visit #1 2 days ago. But this barista said it would be $2.90. I said I had been in the shop and haven't left. She just shook her head as if refills had never occurred before. I said "this is for brewed coffee, right?" She shook her head again, and rolled her eyes. I asked "so you guys don't do any free refills here?" She shook her head again. Rather than explain why they don't do free refills (tho I got one just 2 days ago), she acted rather condescending and like a petulant teenager. Never had an issue at any...
Read moreI visited the place today with my kids. We ordered drinks and pop candies, which are a kind of loli donuts. I made a partial payment using a gift card and a credit card. Oddly, while making the payment, a tipping option appeared, which was confusing since it's a self-service order. Also, I didn't receive a receipt despite asking for it. The lady ignored my request twice before I gave up. While waiting for our drinks, one came on time, but the second took around 10 minutes. Customers who came after me were served before me. The second drink I received wasn't what I had ordered, even though I had told the drink maker my order. When I mentioned I didn't get a receipt, she asked the cashier and ended up making the wrong drink. I was quite frustrated as I was in a hurry for a meeting. Read moreDrive thru this morning for a cold brew and a breakfast sandwich. When I was a few miles away, I realized there was a mix up and I received a coffee cake instead of the sandwich. I was unable to return to the store. A while later, I tried to call the store, but the line was continually busy. I spoke to an agent at central number and they said they could not credit me . For the difference of a toonie, I thought they could at least give me a coupon. It's not the money as much as the fact that I was expecting to have breakfast to start my day.
