This restaurant and pub is a pretty nice little place. The decor is a bit dated but is true to the Resto Pub style. It's easy to find but parking is nearly non existant on the lot. You'll have to park across the street in the Irving/Dairy Queen lot. Be careful when crossing the road as you'll be crossing one of the main streets in town. The ambiance is always great. This was my first time visiting since the new owners took over. The place was pretty full, even after 8:00 PM. The service was great. Everything was timed just right. Drinks, apps, drinks, mains, drinks, bills. The food was good. There's nothing spicy on the menu, though. So, I went with a burger. I could taste the well seasoned grill with every bite. It was a bit dry, though. The fries were just right. Not too starchy. The Balsamic vinaigrette that came with the garden salad was delicious. The portions were good and in-line with the pricing. Expect to pay about $30 per person but you'll have a good meal and a drink to go along with it, depending on what you choose. I had a pleasant experience and I'll be back to try other items on the menu. Keep up...
Read moreI am really not one to leave a bad review but tonights meals were not good at all. From the moment we walked in to the the moment we got food to our table nearly an hour and a half had passed, and we were seated right away. The first thing that showed up were the nachos. They were burned, some of the chips were completely black. My father order the nachos with jalapeños which is an extra charge, the nachos didn't come with them and they charged us for them before we had to dispute the charge. They asked if we wanted it to return it to the kitchen but at that point we were so hungry we were willing to eat anything. I ordered the vegetarian stir fry, and I have to say the rice was undercooked and the whole thing was tasteless. My mother also didn't really eat her meal. I had about three bits before I just packed it away. Towards the end the waiter spilled oil on my mothers white pants. On the one bright side those at our table that order drinks enjoyed them. I my personnel opinion the price did not match the food and service. We are tourist, so if you are as well, this is just information about...
Read moreFood was excellent. We ordered the ribs, steak with shrimp, and a Jim burger. For drinks we had the coco cognac and old fashioned. The steak was cooked to a nice medium rare as requested and the meat was super tender and soft for the ribs. They don’t hold back on the amount of food they put on the plate! We didn’t have a reservation for dinner time but we were able to get seats at the bar. The restaurant was super busy but the staff were very attentive to us and gave us recommendations for things to do in town. The service was prompt and all the waiters and waitresses were friendly and were even willing to take time out of their running around to help us take some memorable pictures! 10/10...
