My daughter wanted me to try Far East Chinese Restaurant for a change from my usual Chinese Restaurant for takeout (Magnolia). I opted for chicken fried rice, a staple at most Chinese restaurants to keep it simple. At first glance I noted there were only onions and chicken in the rice no carrots or peas. Different. I gave it a taste and I can say with all honesty it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. The rice tasted stale and over cooked. The consistency made the rice packable like a snowball. The finishing touch was the rancid after taste. After two spoonfuls I was done. My daughter swears by Far East’s food and called them back to share her disappointment and ask for a refund. She was told that she would not get a refund, only another order of the fried rice we had just complained about. Good customer service could have perhaps involved a credit to try something else in the future. I would have given them another chance. Based on this experience I do not recommend Far East for their food or customer service.

Probably the best Chinese food in niagara! Highly recommended! Read many great reviews on here, so decided to give it try. Wasn't disappointed. Only thing I was confused by was I thought chow mein was noodles. Might of been my own misunderstanding. But definitely would suggest trying them out. I know I will be back. Heard their beef is really good. Next on my list. I had the sweet and sour chicken with chicken chow Mein combo for 1.

Food has declined there every year I remember liking the food in 1995 and every year I give them another chance Outside of restaurant is an eyesore So they must be going bankrupt just for never cleaning outside and inside of building. Why must is smell dusty like a value village Their cooks and owners do not care about quality of their food There is more effort in a TV dinner You can’t put so much sauce on everything to cover up your 10 $ bag of premade chicken balls that you get so cheap and it tastes cheap tastes never fresh Nothing is fresh I think they can’t stand behind quality because they know it’s true I’m sure the staff doesn’t eat there and the cook is laughing that we eat it Bottom line premade food that isn’t edible and will make you have a stomach ache from food prep that is not made well to even make the restaurant smell nice All new owners that have a following in Niagara Falls and I will never again waste the whole order It was all thrown out and manager said she didn’t care and wouldn’t indulge me In a second or for the second night with taking off a couple dishes in price to cover the whole chow mein barf and sweet and sour pork that was too hard in the middle with no deboning She said she asked twice to my 16 year old who ordered for his first time That he was sure and was asked twice because I’m sure she know it’s on the ten worse dish list and she knows her pork and the disguise it is served and can’t see bones and bad meat with all he sauces Chow mein and sweet and sour pork with the most money being directed to huge jugs of sauce to cover the food Anyone else please speak up I have waited about 20 years to declare that I will not waste about 45 $ ever Dinner for two is a joke U can’t eat and must pay and nobody will listen to you but it’s criminal and I’m sorry that my honesty is so irritable to the owner THESe 5 STARS ARE MADE BY STAFF THEY NEVER HAVE GIVEN GOOD FOOD SINCE 1998 Bad integrity and rudeness of manager and telephone intake( both women) comes with the extreme load of unsatisfied customers and I feel sorry for you that you have your face and name behind such a fail in every way You need pity and empathy to be a human like that u should get a paper bag on ur face just to walk by a mirror How do u...

We had previously visited this place in the past week. The Asian worker at the cashier was very cold, rude, and does not smile once. One part of the food was ok and tasted good, however the issue I had was that they did not give us napkins, forks, knives, or spoons with our takeout! In addition to this, they charge you for fortune cookies with your order, at 10 cents per cookie. How ridiculous can this restaurant really get? Does this place really need to make 10 cents per cookie where they really need this small amount of money, is this place really this cheap and needing to be that pathetic? Also, the noodles they served me were cheap instant noodles that were stuck together, and I had great difficulty putting them in my stir-fry, and on top of that they are very strict with serving sauces or any extras. They would not put sauce or anything on my noodles, and they were sticky and hard. They will not allow you to substitute anything and order any or add any extra sauce to your food! Every other Chinese or Asian restaurant which we go to serves fortune cookies at the end of every meal and they are flexible and nice. The fortune cookie from a Chinese meal is like the cherry on top of the sundae for desert. In addition to this, they did not even have any knives available for us for our takeout. No cutlery supplied, and fortune cookies at 10 cents per piece. Very ridiculous and cheap and we will not be returning. We will bring our service elsewhere, where the restaurant actually appreciates...

Dec 31, 2024 I placed an early take out order and the lady that took the order was extremely rude and condescending. Upon picking my order up I made mention that the website indicates 10% off pick ups over $30. I was told that the amount was changed to $50 to get 10% off. I mentioned they should change the error on website and if they are not honouring advertised discount it would be considered false advertising. Everyone behind the counter aggressively tried to justify this error by saying they had nothing to do with that website? They don’t have to give discount and a lot of other dumb excuses. The other customers in line agreed with what the website advertised. For me it wasn’t about the money it was about principle and the lack of customer service that was received. I get in my car and look at my bill and it was $49.85 . You would think that any intelligent business person would have honoured the 10% being so close to the $50. At this point I could have gone back in to make a stink, but honestly I was mentally exhausted. You can’t fix stupid. FYI. Their food used to be amazing and honestly it was terrible this time. My opinion they have gone downhill. I will be taking my business somewhere where I feel like a customer not an...
