Read moreHijabeez is that hidden gem you dream of stumbling across — a total hole-in-the-wall, no-frills spot that delivers big time on flavor, freshness, and value. Tucked away and humble on the outside, but the food? Pure magic.
I got the chicken shawarma with garlic sauce and I’m still thinking about it days later. Perfectly seasoned, tender meat wrapped in warm, pillowy bread with all the right textures and flavors dancing together in every bite. The portion was massive — I split it into two meals and still felt full each time. It’s made fresh, served fast, and priced right.
If I had to nitpick (and this is just me being dramatic), I wish there were more pickles in the wrap. But that’s 100% a personal “pickle hog” problem — not a flaw in their game. Everything else was on point, and this place still gets a strong, unapologetic five stars from me.
Don’t let the low-key exterior fool you — Hijabeez is a must-visit if you’re in the area and craving serious flavor. I’ll be back, probably dreaming of that shawarma the...
Read moreThe cashier was a very nice lady and she was extremely kind to us. She took our order swiftly and gave us our order in a matter of minutes. The place is small, but has a nice atmosphere and nice people working there. However, when it comes to the food, it was lacking. My friend and I ordered the rice bowls. I ordered the mixed meat, which barely had any chicken, and mostly consisted of beef which looked like and tasted like cut up hot dogs. The rice was just basic white rice which had no taste at all. The sauces on top did not really help with the taste. We also ordered fries, which were made fresh and tasted pretty good. My only complaint for those were that they were not very crispy and heavily salted, making them a bit hard to eat. I honestly do not plan on going there again, as there are definitely way better places to get a shawarma than here. I would save my money and try...
