McDonald's — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

So, today I went and decided to stop at MacDonald's for a bite to eat because it's been a long while since I've eaten there and got was I happy I did. It was so good and reminded me of why I love MacDonald's in the first place. The service was quick, friendly, and just all around great.

There is nothing worse then placing an order for a burger and fries at a fast food restaurant like this and having the fries almost cold or just old tasting. You can definitely tell that they just want to get rid of the last fries to the first person or anyone for that matter and not caring who it is but not this day. My server told us it would be another minute for our order because they just put new fries in so they would be done in any minute now and not was she right.

I felt really good because they cared how our order tasted all together. We got a hot burger and fries and to top it all off I got an ice cold blueberry pomegranate smoothie to finish my order off and wow!! What a friggin' awesome lunch that day. Thank you, MacDonald's for making my lunch taste as good as it did this day. I look forward to stopping by for another lunch soon. Maybe it will be a dinner stop next time though with a Mcflurry ice cream added to my order. Man, I love MacDonald's ice cream. The atmosphere was great and want too loud at all, the staff was very kind, and quick, and the price was reasonable. Everything about that days lunch was just great and I look forward to another stop to your location.

And yes, they still have the playground inside for the kiddies. I love that playground and think it's great for kids to have. They can go and play inside while waiting for their food and not even realize how long or short it has been. Such a fantastic way for kids to build up their appetites I say. I will always love MacDonald's and I look forward to spending more years reading at your restaurants so thank you again. Christine (MOD) on 13th August 2025 seemed to be confused ,unprofessional and arrogant while we called on the phone to explain her the situation regarding what happened at the time of our order at the drive thru. Cashier/order taker : are you collecting points ? I replied “Yes”. I was about the say the code and the cashier/order taker replied come to the second window and I said why? When the order is not yet been taken! The cashier/order taker replied come to second window for your uber order ? I replied what are you talking about Uber ? She said okay, we also take order on uber so thought you are here for Uber in a very unprofessional way. She didn’t say sorry and said what is the code, gave the code and they took the order. We came to the second window, the girl at the drive thru window again said what is your uber number - is this some kinda joke ? She closed the window, went back and 3 of the cashiers/servers made the group and started staring towards us and looking to us in a very weird way. Upon calling and talking to Christine ( MoD) was way unprofessional rather than listening the story she said we were not staring at you , we all were just talking about the inventory and said we are not here to argue and hanged up the call. Dirty anytime I've visited (out of necessity for a quick lunch near my place of wirk), poutine was half filled, quarter pounder had two small pickles and a squirt of ketchup in the centre, and half the onions outside the burger; should have taken a picture. Paid almost 15 dollars for a meal that a child could have put together better. I didn't complain as I'm not that guy to make a scene although it was well deserved and felt insulted that they would even serve someone that and call it a 'meal'. Instead, I'll ban that location and let the world know that there are much better options in the area that give better foid/service and appreciation to their customers. I feel like the employees feel backed by a giant corporation act like bullies, in the sense that because it is fast food, they don't have to put a decent effort or sense of pride in what they do. I can do without you McDonald's and I'll give my honest earned cash to local businesses who offer better service and quality food. Garrison Subs, Frijoles, Michkinoku, even Shawarma Sahara are better choices.
