My experience at Elliot + Olivia exceeded all expectations for the experience I wanted to find my dream dress. I had two appointments; the first one was shortly after I got engaged where Bailey allowed my Maid of Honour to set up an amazing photoshoot during our dress shopping appointment (and charcuterie to snack on) so we could have these memories captured forever! Bailey not only had dresses from the designer I had been waiting months to try on, but also pulled a variety of other styles for me to try so I could see what style I preferred best. The second appointment was closer to when I wanted to make a decision about my dress. She remembered exactly which dresses I had my eye on last time and really let me spend the time soaking up the moments that led me to choosing my dream dress! Even though I was nervous to make a decision, Bailey never made me feel stressed or pressured in any way. She offered a lot of helpful advice about how the dress would look when it would be in my size and guided me through the ordering process. Besides being an exceptional owner and bridal consultant, she is truly the sweetest person who you can tell has found their calling. I went to 7 other boutiques prior to choosing my dress at Elliot + Olivia and this experience was by far the best. I can't say enough about the whole experience at Elliott + Olivia! I walked into the appointment fully expecting I would be walking out without purchasing a dress, as I can be very indecisive and get easily overwhelmed with lots of choices, but I found my dress! Bailey has a gorgeous spot and both the space and Bailey were so calming to not feel overwhelmed with the decision. Bailey quickly picked up on what I liked, or didn't like, and offered suggestions accordingly. They have so many gorgeous dresses to try on in a variety of styles and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. She definitely read my energy and helped me to narrow to three and then allowed me the time to decide which one was mine (although I think she knew "the one" when I put it on initially, she allowed me to get there on my own and work through the process). My experience with Elliot & Olivia wasn't a traditional one. I wasn't engaged but my mom was diagnosed with ALS and we had very little time left with her. I didn't want to face choosing a wedding dress without the most important person in my life. Bailey made a special appointment for me on very short notice. She helped us set up a camera so my mom could participate in the appointment (she couldn't be there in person). And when I couldn't decide which dress I wanted, she let me take several beautiful gowns home so that I could try them on and show my mom in person. It wasn't the stereotypical dream moment when I chose my dress but Bailey gave me a special moment with my mom that otherwise would have been lost. The kindness and understanding she showed me during the whole process was nothing short of beautiful.
