I’m actually extremely saddened to leave a poor online review, but It would be a disservice to other future patrons and insult to myself if I did not share. I attended this establishment along with my family on Saturday night of March 30th . Our server ,Sahar, was super friendly, cordial ,attentive absolutely no bone to pick with her as she was fantastic . Unfortunately, my issue was the food I ordered and floor manager’s conduct. I ordered BARG and I asked to be medium rare.As you know Barg is supposed to be the most tenderized part of beef or lamb tenderloin that has been butterflied ;Therefore like shishlik is one of the most expensive item on the menu. If a high quality meat cooked /Barged correctly ,It will be melted in your mouth like a butter. Unfortunately, When I received my food, my Barg was cold as hail. When I expressed my concern, a gentleman whom I can only assume was the manager( he did not introduced himself) took my plate back to the kitchen. He did not ask me what else I would like him to do and did not tell me what or how he is going to action and correct it. Literally after 5 mins , he returned with BARG adding a one skewer of koobideh to my dish to make it up for their blunder. Unfortunately, instead of remaking my food, they took the easy , cheap and bandaid approach and simply reheated my Barg 🤦🏻♂️ Even though ,I appreciate their generous gesture of dropping one skewer koobideh into my plate in attempt to make up for their mistake which I ended up not eating it because I neither liked it nor wanted or asked for it, but I had simply asked my barg to be MEDIUM RARE. They absolutely botched and rubberized my bag by reheating it over the fire. It was burnt and well done now. It’s like you ask them to fix the cold medium rare steak ,but they end u reheating it to the well done point and add a chicken wings to your dish to make it up. Unfortunately, their conduct indicates the staff are not trained properly to deliver excellent customer service and owner prioritizes profit over customer experience.$50 for this quality BARG should be CRIMINAL. I will make sure to share my experience every single time someone talks about Akbar joojeh...

We just walked out of this restaurant (the new location) a few minutes ago, and let me make one thing clear: we will NEVER be back. The customer service is nonexistent—absolutely ZERO. While the decor and food presentation may look appealing, the lack of professionalism is appalling. The quality is of food was also not that great for the price you pay.
We waited forever just to place an order, and when we finally reached out to the staff (who were 5-6 of them standing around chatting), they told us it was our responsibility to call them when we were ready to order. Seriously? What kind of place operates like that? Other tables who ordered after us, received their food earlier. It’s not just bizarre; it’s completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, my mom and I went to the washroom before paying, and when we came back, one of the servers had taken away all our drinks—unfinished. They were so pushy and in a rush to get the bill, insisting that my husband told them to take everything away, which is an outright lie. He doesn’t speak Farsi well, so that was just ridiculous. When we expressed our disappointment, in front of other customers no less, they had the audacity to try to return our money for the drinks AFTER the bill was paid. They did not handle this matter professionally and we had to leave as didn’t want to argue in front of other customer!
We spent over $150 on 3 mediocre super greasy dishes, non-alcoholic drinks, and a dish of pickled olive, and honestly, we felt completely ripped off. We are avid restaurant diners, and this place can’t even handle the basics of customer service and left us completely and utterly...
