Very disappointed. Not sure if it's a one-off, or if maybe this is one of those places that hate doing delivery, so the quality of the food they send out suffers. But I got a calamari combo and my calamari was over-cooked and rubbery. It also tastes fishy in a bad way, as though it wasn't cleaned thoroughly before hand. The croutons in the salad are stale and chewy.
I am very sad because I used to LOVE Opa! and have not gotten it for some time. I also rarely treat myself by ordering in food for lunch at work, so I was really looking forward to this. The calamari was cold which was disappointing but understandable as it was with the salad. I would rather have a fresh, crunchy salad and cold calamari than a soggy, warm salad.
I do appreciate the thoughtfulness of adding a paper between the two to keep the calamari batter crispy.
But over all this was a very disappointing experience and I just feel like I wasted my money. Its a shame because this would normally be such a great deal due to how generous the portion size is but I can barely even eat half of it because it tastes so bad.
=( I hope this was just a one time thing and not how they normally do things now. . . .
Update: it's 2hrs later aaaand now my stomach hurts rather severely. Uh oh. . . . NOT how I want to spend the rest of...

Before you could always expect properly cooked/prepared orders with consistent portions. But recently the owner/manager has hired some new staff, and they're either poorly trained or plainly incompetent. There is very little care put into the food prep. Here are a few examples:
all toppings on wraps are piled up in the middle of the pita; no attempt/thought to spread it out to create a more consistent bite cesar salad is prepared without care and overdressed to the point of being inedible french fry portions are very inconsistent very slow service overall
Fortunately there are other locations nearby. I won't be returning...
Read morePicked up takeout to take to family member recovering from surgery. They didn't include the chicken skewers.... Called to get refund (mistakes happen) and told I had to drive back there to get a refund of $3 and change for only the price of the skewer, not eh meal. No apologies from them, just "accidents happen". Tempted to dispute the charge on Visa as didn't get what I paid for. At least McDonald's owns up to their mistakes when they make them...... I wonder if they will donate the $3 to Food Bank as I suggested (costs me more to drive back)? Lost a customer...
