Disappointed once again, but at another location this time and it being our first time at this location (2011 Winston Park Dr.) but not surprised. The irony of it all is we came to this location because we received a voucher from another BP location for the food poisoning and 3 days off work I had to take off just from one experience.
Firstly before walking into the restaurant there was about 4-6 young men right outside the doors smoking weed (yes it’s legal but not where families come with young children) that carried into the restaurant, not something we want to smell when having dinner. So with that being said there should be some sort of security especially on the weekend and for the location it’s in. No one came to check on our table for drinks or starters for at least 20 mins, bear in mind it wasn’t that busy on the dining room side of things. A server finally came to our table, we ordered drinks, but it was very rushed. We couldn’t even order starter before server just walked away. Server came back with drinks no cutlery no napkins. Our food order was also rushed.
While we were sitting, there was a loud altercation between a server (Phil) who was yelling and swearing at another server (female) allegedly he was drunk (off shift, but drunk or not that is not how you speak to people) and according to FOUR different staff he’s had several complaints about his raged behaviour and as someone who is doing placement as a counsellor for ABUSED WOMEN I was absolutely disgusted with that behaviour, he embarrassed her and belittled her however she did handle the situation really well, she kept calm. BUT I’m sorry what he did that’s considered abuse and bullying in the work place and as a Boston Pizza the fact there’s been complaints before on this server Phil and it is clear in his behaviour that we witnessed he has never been dealt with before it seems that Boston Pizza allows this behaviour to continue as well as represent their establishment. This sort of behaviour is unacceptable. No excuses! Sadly to say that’s one more BP checked off as NOT to go to.
If you ask me I highly recommend you to train the BP (Phil) team on respect, how to handle your emotions and possibly add a rule to NOT drink after your shift then project your anger and feelings on coworkers in...
Read moreReally disappointed with the experience my boyfriend and I just had at this location that we have been coming to for years. We asked for dinning room which seemed to be our mistake as there was no hostess, a manager sat us, did not tell us any specials or say anything just walked away. Our table was dirty and had not been wiped. Then we waited long enough to decide our whole meals (drinks, apps and mains) but when a server finally came over they only took our drink order and we asked if we could do the appetizer order as well and he told us this was fine as long as he can come back before our mains order which delayed us. After a while we received our drinks, in which I had asked for a ‘quencher’ with a shot in it, but they brought me the shot after I had drank half the drink as I assumed it would be mixed or at least brought at the same time. Then another server came and took our food order whom we asked if our chippers we ordered as an app would be coming out soon to which the first server came over and aplologized saying he had forgot to ring them in. When our main food came out my boyfriend had asked for a drink refill and a couple napkins which never came. I would have ordered another drink as well if anyone had been around to ask. Finally when we were ready to leave and had been waiting trying to call someone over, the bartender brought over my boyfriends second drink and said “I think someone forgot about you” and we explained to him how it seemed that way all night even though we had usually had good experiences here before. He was kind and brought over take out boxes and found our server who came over and said “hi” when we were paying our bill which was also weird. The food was great and so was the bartender, but other than that not so much. As a couple we have weekly date nights on tuesdays in which we usually go to Boston pizza and then a movie but will definitely be taking a break from...
Read moreIf I could give more than 5 stars, I would,Our family lunch at Boston Pizza was absolutely exceptional, and that is almost entirely thanks to our server, Seif Abdelsalam.
From the moment we sat down, Seif made us feel so welcome. He wasn't just taking our order; he was genuinely ensuring we had a wonderful time. He greeted our children by name, made them laugh, and his kindness immediately put them at ease. It’s this personal, heartfelt touch that you rarely find anymore.
The food was, as always, delicious and cooked to perfection. But the standout was the service. Seif was incredibly attentive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. He made excellent recommendations and checked on us just the right amount.
As parents, the free kids meal is a fantastic value that makes dining out so much easier. But what truly makes this restaurant a cut above the rest is the five-star service provided by team members like Seif. He turned a simple meal into a memorable family outing. He is an absolute gem and a huge credit to the Boston Pizza team.
We cannot recommend this location highly enough. Whether you're coming for a sports game, a family celebration, or just a great meal, ask for Seif’s section, you will be so glad you did.
Thank you, Seif, for your outstanding service and for going above and beyond to make our night so special. We will...
