Double Double Pizza & Chicken — Restaurant in Oakville

I would give a negative star review if I could. I went into the store around noon to order a slice of pizza and the owner of the store was helping us. She asked me what I wanted to order and I stated I wanted a slice of cheese pizza. She asked me to repeat my order multiple times and I repeated the same statement " 1 slice of cheese pizza". Instead of asking me to repeat in a well mannered way, she began to yell at me and my group of friends for taking time to order even though she was the one who couldn't hear me. After my friend asked her to stop yelling at us for no reason, she started commenting on her looks saying "change your lipstick then come talk to me". My elder sister contacted her to get an explanation on this disgusting behaviour, after which the owner replied it was her store and she's free to behave the way she feels. She started rambling about how she spoke and not "shouted" to bring confidence in kids speaking up, which is inappropriate. I will never step foot into this pizza place and neither will any of my contacts. It's a shame that the owner of the place is ill mannered as its location was convenient. I hope the owner takes this advice well by going to anger management classes, learning how to provide better service, and to stop yelling at other people's children.

EDIT Post Owner’s Reply: Thanks for lying in the reply. I will respond to your lie one by one. Point 1: My friends and I are not obviously Muslim looking people (not wearing the hijab) and we were not ordering pork either. Instead of asking us to repeat our order since the owner couldn’t hear well, she began to yell at minors. Point 2: Once we noticed you could not hear our order, we tried talking to the other server, you replied “Hey hey, if you don’t want to order with me then leave the store”. Instead of lying saying you referred us to a different server, you told us to leave the store unless we order with you. Maybe the review will give you some perspective to not yell and comment on children since you are a grown woman....

We had a terrible experience at the sixth line, Oakville location. Usually we love the pizza from Double Double from the Mississauga location.

At the Oakville location, the pizza was so bad that it tasted like they heated up a frozen pizza from a grocery store. The dough hasn’t risen at all and and the inside was uncooked. There was no flavour in the pizza at all. We placed the order over the phone picked up the pizza after 15 minutes. The pizza was simply awful. We haven’t had such a bad pizza in any of the restaurants, ever.

We ordered the pizza at 9 pm. I wonder if the sole worker at the Oakville location doesn’t like taking late night pizza orders, if you consider 9 pm late night.

If he is too lazy to make pizza after 9 pm, then maybe they shouldn’t have their place open until 11 pm. Simply terrible. My kids were disappointed and stayed hungry even after we spent the money and time on this pizza.

This location is going to ruin the name for the entire Double...

I ordered from skip the dish. I had checked the reviews and had to check them out. Originally I had ordered a combo and they cancelled my order and took the combo off. Which was annoying as now I had to wait longer and find something else. But I still had faith and just found something else. I ended up ordering a Greek salad and unfortunately they had put ranch or Cesar dressing all over ( if they put it on the side I would have been able to use my own) the freshness was there super crispy veggies, but the dressing was terrible. Now let’s get to the chicken. Not overly breaded or greasy. But super crunchy. The pop corn chicken was amazing too with lots of flavour. And those home made wedges are to die for. The gravy was nothing special but went good with the wedges. 8/10 based in my salad and cancellation experience. We will be coming back...
