For nearly 10 years, I have been visiting Canada to see my family and my friends and occasionally dine at McDonald's locations. Today, around 6 PM, along with some relatives and fiends, we visited one of your stores (2290 Lakeshore Road West, Bronte Rd, Oakville, ON L6L 1H3). A friend of mine, a respectful Canadian resident, had her dog with her. She was initially concerned about whether she could bring her dog inside, and since there was no sign indicating otherwise, she brought her dog in. After finishing her meal and intending to leave (it is worth noting that friends and family joined me at different times, resulting in multiple rounds of orders), during the last round of ordering, which coincided with my friend's exit, I attempted to place an order. At this point, a woman, who I later learned was the manager, rudely and aggressively instructed the person taking the order not to serve me until my friend took her dog outside. This behavior deeply saddened and angered me because the dog was not mine, and I was placing an order for another friend. Despite my explanation that my friend was taking the dog outside and that the dog was not mine, the manager forced the cashier to refuse my order without any explanation. Additionally, another individual began speaking aggressively to the cashier in another language (I believe it was Arabic).
As a long-standing and reputable business, it would be much more appropriate for you to demonstrate greater respect towards your customers. Utilizing trained, educated, experienced, and polite individuals as managers would be more fitting. This disrespectful behavior, displayed in front of other customers, saddened me to the extent that I no longer wish to visit any McDonald's location. I hope my point has been clearly understood. The issue is not about preparation time, food quality, or portion size. The issue concerns the dignity of your customers, which was insulted by the store manager. I am deeply regretful about...
Read moreWhen I show friends around Bronte I half-jokingly say this is the world's worst McDonald's. But my experience has shown me that this is usually the case. And I've traveled quite a bit. I often wonder why corporate headquarters doesn't shut them down. I wish there were another McDonald's closer to my house. Tonight I put in my mobile order from my house then I drove to the Bronte McDonald's and parked in pickup spot number 4. I waited more than 10 minutes until the order disappeared from the screen on my phone and then walked in to ask where my order was. The young man working brusquely told me that there were no mobile orders. I told him that was not the case and then he looked and was able to find my order. But never did apologize for the loss of the order. Then it was a comedy of errors to try to get the order correct and to me and I still waited more than 10 minutes at the counter for the order to come out. It shouldn't have taken that long if I walked in off the street. If you go to this McDonald's and you get what you want when you want it, go out immediately and buy yourself a lottery ticket because it will be your lucky day. On the positive side the food was good once I got it and they now...
Read moreSomehow this location always gets the order wrong. I order 2 breakfast burrito they give me one. I order a spicy mcchicken they give me a reg one. I order lettuce. I got no lettuce. Like.. itâs like no one from this location cares.
For drive thru. They always make you wait. Want a drink?! You got it. Anything more. Itâs like they never want their timer more then 1 minute so head office doesnât know how slow they are. They send you off, to wait another 15-20 minutes.
The tables are often dirty inside.
The morning staff tend to be better than evening staff, however, the FT lady who is regularly at the drive thru window is way too rude.
One time I paid cash for a $18.10 with a $20 bill. The charge should be $1.90. She gave me back 90 cents. She said they have no loonies. So not going to give me the $1. I said Iâll take 4 quarters. She said urg I donât want to count that. So I rummaged and found 10 cent. Returned the .90cents and gave 10 cents to get a tonnie instead. She was okay with that. (She was okay with putting back 90 cents in change. But not willing to give me 4 quarters to make up $1?!
Anyways if you pay cash. Count...
