Dined at Sunset Grill today for lunch. Happy to have Michelle for our server again: very friendly and great job as always. She comes by a few times throughout our meal to make sure everything is ok and if we need anything. Great service !

But the kudos goes to Lambros! He was the chef today, another hidden talent !!! The food is always great there but today it tasted even better ! I was so impressed, I personally had to compliment the chef and shake his hand! (We came late and by the time we were finished eating, the restaurant was already closed, so we were the last ones to leave). So glad I had a chance to chat with him ! He has a very humble and friendly personality. Excellent job! We don’t come that often to Sunset Grill but when we do, we are never disappointed. It is one of the best and our favourite go to restaurant for brunch in Oakville.

My family’s dined at Sunset Grill on Hays Boulevard, Oakville, on many occasions for brunch. On our most recent visit, we were seated by Lambros (one of the Managers). He always has a warm genuine smile on his face and makes us feel welcome. He will come by at times and ask if everything is ok or if we need anything, even though he is not our server. He is very hard working, as I see him often clearing and cleaning tables too, very impressive!

The server who stands out the most is Michelle. She has served us on a few occasions. She is great at her job, always friendly, efficient and attentive. Every time we go to Sunset Grill, we hope to get her!

The restaurant has an extensive breakfast menu, food portions are big and always fresh and delicious. Kudos to the chefs ! We always enjoy the food there!

At the end of the meal, while we are leaving, we are always thanked for coming. That makes us feel so special and appreciated.

I hope both Lambros and Michelle are recognized for their exceptional customer service skills. They are a definite asset to your team.

It’s not always the food that makes a successful business. It’s also the people who work there, that contributes to the success ! A restaurant that has great food but terrible customer service will not get my business. But a restaurant with great food AND great service will always get my business.

This is a Canadian restaurant chain. I only know this because I looked it up. From the outside ( and I do mean the American looking in) it looks like a cool little no name neighborhood grill. Once inside the vibe changes to more of a Denny's in a log cabin. It's busy, it's loud, and the clinking of silver directs your eyes to the massively oversized pancakes on customer tables. One lady across from us had this extremely delicious looking omelet. Since I love burgers I got the usual classic cheese burger with home fries. The potatoes tasted closer to hash browns than french fries but I really enjoyed the contrast of the texture and seasoning of them with the burger. The burger was about 7 out of 10. The burger was definitely higher quality beef than a fast food place like Burger King. I couldn't tell if the bun was toasted with butter.
