One of the worst Wendy’s experiences ever. The food was terrible, cold fries, the drinks were partially out of syrup. The burgers were fine. Not good. Just fine. The service was the worst part. The workers in the building were (although pleasant) extremely incompetent, at first we were quite rudely told that they couldn’t hear us and that we needed to speak up. Although we were already almost yelling. So WE had to suggest going to the front window. We would have gone inside except for the fact that they were CLOSED due to renovations. AT THIS POINT it is not worth it for the food quality or service to keep the restaurant open through the drive through. After going up to the window and placing our order we asked for the receipt and were denied. They asked us to go around through the drive though again. They told us to get it on the next go around. When they gave us the food it was quite chaotic. We were trying to figure out if the order was correct as we were giving food to some other people with dietary restrictions and sensory issues, but we were rushed out of the line. We parked outside of the place (the drive though was extremely confusing and the renovations made the place dangerous in the rain) we checked through our bags and they forgot a fry and the drinks were the wrong size. They also did not give us the receipt so we have no proof of the food they messed up. (I don’t want to believe it was on purpose but their unwillingness to give us the receipt makes me think otherwise) Unfortunately we could not go back into the drive through due to time constraints and because they are closed on the inside we could not go in to get the food we PAID FOR. We paid a total of 57.80$ it took over 15 minutes because we had to go through the drive through twice. They messed up every single order with the wrong size of food. As someone who goes to this Wendy’s all the time (loyal since before the renovations) it is extremely disheartening to see the state it has come into. We have never had a problem with the food before now. Since these renovations have started we have had increasingly bad interactions with this restaurant. You should have stayed closed until the renovations were completed. 0/5 stars. We will NOT be...
Read moreNot once at any Wendy’s in Oakville, Milton, Burlington, Missisauga and or Hamilton have I arrived at the location and the food was actually ready for my Skip Pickup! More often then not, they haven’t even started making the order and often are understaffed as well as staff being incompetent. For example, 1 of the 2 Wendy’s in Burlington like most are short staffed (Already a major Fast-Food Restaurant Issue). At this specific location though their is an elderly women whom works their along side 2 or 3 young teenagers. The women is the only one working hard while the teenagers are just standing and moping around with no motivation, very little manners and overall horrible attitudes. I think it’s insane that minimum wage is so high for all people! IMO, teenagers in school who live at home and live in a household without a financial burden particularly, these teenagers shouldn’t get your typical minimum wage. Or people under 18 should be paid $10 an hour, nothing higher! It’s unacceptable to be paying students under 18 - $14.60/hour while minimum wage is $15.50/hour. I think that’s way to high to be paying children who can theoretically earn over 30G’s per year GROSS by standing & doing nothing, slacking off, behaving rude to customers, behaving lazy, not working hard etc. This is Lunacy IMO as an adult with a 4yr BA and a Masters, working full time in my field I am earning honestly close to that same amount. It’s absolutely ridiculous how they treat and segment people in Canada at it’s current state. Why should a high-school student who needs no money be able to earn hundreds of dollars per week to buy tech devices, video games, unhealthy food beer and weed while an adult trying to feed their family working hard at the same job earns a measly .90 cents more per hour? That’s completely unrealistic and sad that our policy makers have come to these conclusions and put them...
Read moreI went to the drive-thru because l'm in a hurry. I order and l pay. I'm waiting, and no food. She tells me to park my car. What the heck? I park my car and l'm waiting about 10 minutes and l go in and ask what the problem is. She said breakfast was over, but l ordered at 10:30am. I said why did you let me order and ley me pay if breakfast is over? She should have told me that at the speaker when l ordered. But she accepted my order and my money and then...park my car? I'm late and no apology from any of the workers.
This a second review l have to put in my first because l can't post twice apparently. I ordered a medium diet coke, which didn't taste like diet, and l hardly had anything to drink because my cup was filled 2/3 with ice, and thats not even exaggerating. A little coke with my ice. Then the poutine l ordered...disgusting. The cheese was a chunk like a high school eraser and it just never melted. I was chewing on it like a rubber balloon and the squeaking it made against my teeth made me cringe like scratching a blackboard, l had to spit it out. Horrible. I gave this Wendys a second chance and l get this...never coming here again.
July 23, 2025 My second review. Do not order the french toast. The biggest rip off ever. You pay $4.69 plus tax for 4 morsels of buttered bread. Its toast...from a very small loaf of bread. I mean they are tiny. They are like 4 potato wedgies. What a...
