Bella's Acacia Catering — Restaurant in Ontario

I don’t know how I missed leaving a review for one of our favourites, so here it is. We discovered Bella and her delicious food back in 2020, when she was at her previous location. Right from the start we knew it was something special. Unlike the other Korean restaurants in town, her menu is almost entirely plant based, each dish showing her own unique twist. She also makes the most incredible kimchi (multiple variations). Everything on the menu is a delight and always meticulously prepared. In addition to being a talented chef, she’s also a lovely person who is so gracious to her customers, always remembering your name, your likes and dislikes. She’s worked incredibly hard these past 4 years to build up her business and we know she’ll just continue to build and succeed. We can’t wait to see where you are in another 4...

We had a lovely experience at Bella's.

Seeking a mid-art-show snack in the depths of Somerville 630, we found this joint and were recommended the Tofubap. It was wonderful: sweet, sour and spicy all at once within the comfort of rice and fried tofu.

We also enjoyed a taste of the Vegetable Sushi Kimbap (pictured), topped with pickled ginger and radish: intensely flavourful and thus a treat to the tongue!

The dedicated and charismatic chef delighted us with her back story and extensive culinary knowledge. We left convinced that her heart is in her work and she deserves success for this business.

If I had to give 100 stars to this restaurant and the amazing human that's running it, I would. Ever since I discovered this absolute gem of a place, I didn't have to go for another place every time I craved Korean food. Bella not only is an amazing chef, but is also an amazing human being. We've tried almost everything in the menu over the course of 10+ times we've ordered from this place. Our favorites are the Kimchi pancake, tofubap, the spicy napa kimchi, and the sesame oil flavored salad dressing which is absolutely amazing. 10/10...
