wow, it’s bean a while since I’ve had a reason to get up in the morning. I can’t espress in words just how gr888 the coffee is here. Finally, a flat white I can sipathise with! the service was really outstanding too, and when I asked how the barista was doing, she slyly responded: “better now that you’re here”. Idk i thought that was cute lmao 🙊 I think her name was Kat, she rocked. There was also a tall guy who’s name I didn’t catch, but who made me feel safe cuz he was wearing a mask. respect! later when i returned home, i found myself humming this tune: “ yum yum yum, coffee bean, best dang cofee I ever seen, ever tasted, ever knew, Detour cafe, i love you.” the breakfast sandwich was lit af too #i’llhavewhatsheshaving great jawb Detour go to heck starbutts

The breakfast panini hands down is one of the best breakfast sandwiches we have had (& we've had plenty!) We had to wait since it was being cooked at the time of order but it was so worth it !!!! So delicious! Ordered one with bacon, one with avocado. The homemade ketchup pairs so well with it aswell. Diff type of taste. Coffee & employees were great too. Happy we got to start our Monday here :)

What a lovely surprise! Paris, Ontario is a lovely town. I was craving a "proper" coffee ( without sounding too snobbish! ) and found this little place. The worker - sorry I can't remember his name, was professional, knows his stuff and you could see he is passionate about what he does. I've worked as a Barista before, so I know a thing or two about coffee. He made a great Cappuccino! You get the feeling that you are not just a number, but they actually care. We chatted for a while and off I went. I have been to the Dog Eared Cafe ( also along the same strip ) the owner there was rude, unfriendly and pompous. Detour Café at the Wincey Mill is an absolute gem! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. Their coffee is consistently delicious, and I particularly love my latte with oat milk – it's always perfectly crafted and never disappoints. As someone who is gluten and chocolate free, I do wish they had a few more treat options that cater to these dietary needs, as I'd love to pair my coffee with something sweet.
