I recently found myself in a bit of a dinner predicament while in downtown Paris. With nothing ready to eat and a dwindling list of options, I decided to venture out in search of something delicious. I hadn't initially thought of Paris Inn, but then I remembered seeing people walking around with take-out pizza boxes from there, which prompted me to give it a try.

Let me tell you, it was a stroke of genius. I ordered the Fun Guy pizza, which features roasted mushrooms, and it turned out to be the best pizza I've had in a long time. Each bite was a perfect blend of flavors and textures that left me craving more.

While my pizza was being prepared, I took the opportunity to sit in the restaurant and soak in the atmosphere. The décor is truly charming, with a delightful collection of chandeliers and vintage paintings adorning the walls. It creates a warm, inviting ambiance that perfectly complements the exceptional food.

The staff at Paris Inn were also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure my experience was enjoyable. Their service added an extra layer of warmth to the already pleasant experience.

I will definitely be coming back to Paris Inn and spreading the word. If you're in town and craving pizza, this is unquestionably the best place to go. Don’t miss out...

The atmosphere and general look of the place is nice. However, out of 5 people who ordered samdwiches and nachos, a pretty basic meal, takes forever. It hasn’t been overly busy, no dinner rush. You can see the kitchen staff, they don’t look rushed at all. But when asked, the waitress said they’re short staffed. The waitress walks by numerous times and doesn’t take any dirty dishes. They had a side of kettle chips which was exciting because you never see that… but it’s literally just chips from a bag. Highly disappointing considering it doesn’t take many ingredients to make that from scratch. Coleslaw is honestly the bagged kind you see in the grocery store salad isle. The chicken bruschetta sandwich tastes good, could use some more bruschetta considering a whole chicken breast is used.. Steak one is good as well. They had an interesting take on nachos, it was bowl style (which is fun). Just seems like they cut corners on basic stuff. Not sure if it’s because there’s all teenagers working in the back who have AirPods in and taking their time. I think the owner or manager was in, since he was quick to ask if we wanted refills and...

Our first visit to the Paris inn was extremely disappointing. Had a 6:30 reservation Saturday night and sat out on the patio. The restaurant was not busy and sparsely populated. Everything started out fine, drinks brought out quickly and order taken at 6:40. A couple of other tables were seated after we had ordered. At 7 pm when both other tables food was brought out to them, we thought it was odd. No server had come back to our table to check on us since placing our order. Finally at 7:10 another server came out to another table and we asked her how our order was coming (2 pizzas). She went to check and never returned. 5 mins later Justin, who I believe is the owner came out to inform us that he thinks our order wound up in the garbage or had been lost. WHAT. DID HE ACTUALLY JUST SAY THAT???How does a restaurant not have a better system for managing its orders? How does a server take an order and ignore the table for over 49 minutes. We never did see the server who took our order again after she took it Justin was very apologetic but it was a colossal service failure. Won’t be rushing to go back there...

The main throughfare (Grand River St. N.) is closed from North Riverton to William St. due to redesign that is ongoing. One sidewalk is newly cemented and the opposite sidewalk is torn up with floor mats making it a challenge to walk on. In spite of this the town is alive with hospitality and friendly visitors. Most shops are open for business and the variety of choices for food is surprising for such a quaint town. We had a bite at the Paris Inn. Their choice of cocktails is excellent. I ordered a Sage the Date, consisting of sage infused wiskey, sage syrup, vanilla, lemon & ginger beer. Perfect cocktail for the fall. #StrawberryBlond had a Mojito. I ordered the warm olives marinated with garlic, chilli flakes and lemon served with crostini to share. My main was a 9" sausage and peppers pizza with house made sausage that had a hint of fennel. 🤤 delicious. #StrawberryBlond ordered a Chicken and brie sandwich with fig jam, arugula, apple , and garlic aoli with a side chicken vegetable soup. The flavour of the soup broth was outstanding.

As others have mentioned, the kitchen's ability to prepare orders in a timely manner is abysmal. We were seated quickly for our reservation, with drink and meal orders taken promptly. Drinks arrived, and that's when the wheels fell off. After 1 hour, the server came over to check on us and solemnly noted "oh, you don't have your food yet..." noting the kitchen was slammed, however there was nothing coming out of the kitchen for most of that time (we were in a booth right at the pass). We noted one table near us did get food and finishing before ours ever arrived. There were a other tables in our predicament, as they were pacing around and their kids getting very impatient. After 1.5 hours our food arrived, the sandwiches were quite good, however the Romain in the Caesar salad was warm and wilty, perhaps sat out for the entire time awaiting its sandwich companion. We were comped a beverage for the inconvenience.

UPDATE: Paris Inn has become a family fouvourite. The rustic location, great service and amazing food is to be enjoyed by all. Today, bruschetta and pizza which to our liking. This is a must visit if in town. Supporting local. Enjoy! PREVIOUS: Back again for another great experience. Tried the warm olives to start, and everyone was sold on the pizzas. It is a fun and rustic place for friends or family. Enjoy! PREVIOUS: Looking for a place to eat with good food and relaxing atmosphere .... Look no further. A visit here for the first time with family and we were pleasantly surprised not knowing what to expect. Great service and good food. We each tried the pizza and were quite happy with the choices. A must visit ..... Supporting local. 5 stars earned on this occasion. We will be back. Enjoy!
