Eddy's Mediterranean Bistro — Restaurant in Ontario

Amazing!! We walked in and we were immediately greeted and seated. The server was so polite and kind. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shoutout, because she was fantastic! As soon as I opened up the menu, I knew this was going to be an experience. It wasn't a flimsy, laminated menu. It was solid, clean, and beautiful! The food was amazing, the only downside being everything pretty well came out at once, but that's okay! I had never had oysters with marinara sauce, so I didn't know what to expect, but wow! I would definitely come here if I had a craving for oysters. Next up, the chicken shawarma platter. It was lovely! The chicken was cut up a bit smaller than I would have liked, but that didn't stop it from tasting great. The roasted veggies I ordered as a side were done up just right, and tasty. I ordered shrimp skewers on the side, and they were good. There was a bit too much butter on them for my own personal liking, but that didn't stop them from being great. If a little lemon slice came with them, it would be perfect! The only thing I didn't like is that they are not upfront with the cost of additional drinks, such as pop or iced tea, but yet again, we never asked. Would like to see these costs on the wonderful menu. I would definitely rate 5 stars if it weren't for this. All in all, will definitely be going...

Parking was easy with their private parking in the rear and convenient rear entrance, no steps.

The entire restaurant was immaculate, including the spacious family friendly bathroom, and kitchen.

All of our meals were brought to our table without a hickup. Everything was made fresh to order, do not expect fast food.

We had many different food choices and were eager to share. Every meal was perfect and tasty. A special note on the stuffed grape leaves, I do not know their secret but these were the best I have ever had in my life. And that is saying a lot. Over 60 years of having a special love for stuffed grape leaves and finding the perfect ones here. Apologies to my Lebanese family and friends, Eddy's are the best that I ever had.

Please do not expect fast food! Everything is made fresh to order. This level of quality takes time.

Went to Windsor from Michigan for a little anniversary celebration. Walked by the river for a bit and then went to Eddy's for dinner. We had made reservations for 6:00, but were early and they sat us with no issues.

Walking in the back, it looks like a takeout place, but we were sat in a very nice, comfortable dining room. It felt fancy, but I didn't feel out of place in my t-shirt and leggings.

Our server was very helpful and fun, without being overbearing. My husband got the chicken shish tawook and I got the mixed grill. It was delicious! The chicken was well seasoned and tender. We totally didn't know we were supposed to dip in the garlic sauce. Both of us didn't think the chicken needed it to be heavenly.

As our meal finished, our server brought us 2 pieces of baklava - it was fabulous! Sometimes baklava is heavy and way too sweet- not this! It was perfectly balanced.
