Fitzray's Restaurant — Restaurant in Ontario

Came in for lunch today with my mother expecting our usual food from there. The beef dip that was described to be on a hoagie was on a soggy hot dog bun with a lot of garlic butter, the beef was said to be sliced. It was shredded and looked packaged. Was very unappetizing after one bite. The fries that came with it I was told normally come with this dill seasoning on them anytime I've ever eaten here. That has never been the case nor wasn't mentioned on the menu. As someone who has a very selective pallet, this was off-putting and caused me to not want to have more than one bite before I set the entire meal back and decided not to order anything else. My mother had mozza sticks that were undercooked and we're supposed to be paired with fries which we asked not to have. But instead of adding a couple more moths sticks or something, we were charged $16 for 10 lots of sticks that were undercooked. This used to be one of our favorite little spots but unfortunately we won't be back. Hopefully you guys do better...

I am out if town customer and found this place based on yelp and google review. It was immediate acknowledgement by the staff.took about 10 seconds. This place has a lot of regulars which staff focused their energy on. (Understandable) but should also focus on new business. Staff didnt love her job but was their to pay for her school( i heard her talking about her last week). Good clean kitchen and place. I ordered what the chef loves making and their was no love on plate as I received Pierogies filled with bacon, tomatoes and onions as toppings! No colour or flavour not to mention love put in to this dish. Just a mess. Wings were fantastic and were fresh. I over heard Mark ( owners name a lot from regular and thats a sign of good customer service. Overall it was ok service and chef looked he was trying hard and i believe he's still learning, great job and keep it up but dont serve Pierogies Again! ;) i would return to this location again and...

It was not a good first time experience for me. When my party of 5 came through the door we were not greeted by anyone. The waitress came in from outside and greeted us which was odd. The menus we got were sticky and covered in food. I dirtied my white shirt looking at the menu. Before we ordered, our server did not inform us of any specials or any new items on the menu. One of us ordered a bottle of wine, and we received very dirty wine glasses. The server did not inform us that the popcorn is free and that you have “to get it yourself.” During our meal, our server was no where to be found and the restaurant was empty. At one point she came in from outside the front door with what appeared to be another server. It seemed like she didn’t work there. For an experience like that of course I left no tip. Not impressed. Food was subpar. I got the boneless wings and they were not tasty. The pierogies were not...
