I have been a loyal customer since I was 20 yrs old, 29 now so think I can officially thank you for my big butt. It is disturbing to confess how many times I've ordered from you this year alone. However I canceled my order mid placing it. Normally I am greeted by a well put together people person on the phone, or the lovely strawberry blonde who carries it out to the parking, She is great. Today it sounded like a teenager having a hissy fit. When she let me speak! I was getting my usual the 6P deluxe combo. I told her I wanted the sides divvied out in three gravy large and the honey garlic split with sour cream. She did not understand my request. I honestly don't blame that she didn't know what I was asking, I blame that on the fact she never let me finish a sentence. I have never been rush like that ever. She then decided to gaslight me and tell me that was my fault for not saying it in the beginning of the call, and I needed to clarify better. As if I wasn't cut off 20 times. Then randomly started to handle the call as if I was calling to complain about an order. When actually I was still mid placing it. She has either been working too long of a shift I needs to break or she needs more on phone with customers training. I understand having a bad day. I understand having a bad week. So I decided before work to go grab my mom and family some food . Of course i forgot my wallet š„“š„“ and it's a 60+ dollar order. I panicked , asked if he accepted e-transfer .. anything I live in Tecumseh so going home and grabbing my wallet and making it back on time for work in 30 mins was just not an option .. I went back to my car to call my mom to have her come meet us and the owner came out to offer me to take the food with the promise I would come back .. someone who's never met me, just recognize that obviously I was stressing out and having my 3-year-old daughter with me. I talked to him briefly about business and how he recently took over from the previous owner of 30+ years, We talked about being parents and how 2-3 year olds are so much fun lol. He asked me to leave a review... I thought maybe by posting this we could get him some new business or anyone else who'd like to leave him a positive review. I'm so humbled at his generosity...

As for the food, there were no fresh cut fries for poutine, the gravy was tasteless and heavy and was like a big blob. I usually get chicken and taters but even plain old taters seem to be hard to make. If they are usually way too mushy even if you ask for extra crispy. It was disappointing all around to say the least. The looks of the inside was like a half remodeled house. A mix of modern and very old. I can remember having to wait almost a couple hours for chicken and the restaurant was full of people all enjoying themselves. It WAS the best chicken in town. For good chicken now, you have to go to the east side of the city. The place was a well oiled machine with 4-5 employees plus the owner working most nights of the week.
