And oh my the rice was just it! The blend of flavors and the way they just melt once you put them into your mouth! The fattoush was also so insanely delicious! I swear this restaurant has mastered the blend of flavors because when I say the food here astonished me, I mean it! I’ve also really got to mention the beautiful interior design. So comfortable and cozy! Not to mention the originality of the pictures hung on the walls. They’re also open till 2AM for Uber and DoorDash! Owners were extremely kind and provided us with some amazing...
Read moreThis is an incredible Iraqi restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and seems like you’re back in time. Lama - the owner served us and was very friendly and welcoming.
For appetisers, we ordered the Hummus and 4 piece Kibbeh. Both tasted very good. However, considering the high prices of the menu items, I was expecting home made fresh warm bread served with the hummus but instead was given just few pieces of cold pita bread. For mains, we ordered Quzi - a traditional Iraqi lamb and rice dish. The rice was soft and fluffy and the meat was cooked to perfection! It was soft and just melts in your mouth. Quzi comes with a side of gravy as well which wasn’t too bad.
For the service, it was great. Though slightly slow but considering it is a family run business, it’s understandable. Prices are definitely high but worth it.
I would personally come...
