Harvey's — Restaurant in Ontario

Ordered the Asian crispy chicken salad just without the chicken. Apparently that’s a very complicated order, because it took three employees to figure out what I was asking for. The description of the salad says “a bed of seasoned rice”, and when they called up my order it was a bowl of lettuce. I asked for rice and they put white rice, didn’t add the cucumber or tomato. There was a line up behind me, and I didn’t want to hold anyone up anymore, so I just went home with a salad that I wasn’t happy with. I noticed the email address on the bottom of the receipt, so I sent an email on Tuesday May 8th. Within an hour I got a response saying they have forwarded my email off to the location and someone would be in contact with me in the next 1-2 business days. I waited 5 business days, until the following Tuesday when I didn’t receive an email, so I sent a follow up email. The person who responded to me the first time sent me a confirmation email, within the hour and apologizing for the fact that no one responded to me and made sure the location knew I was waiting for a response. I got an email back from the manager asking me to call the location. I called and he told me the salads are order what you want on them, which makes sense, but I told him the description of the salad says it’s on a bed of seasoned rice and when they called my order up it was a bowl of lettuce. He said I should have asked for the seasoned rice, which is what I thought I was doing by asking for the Asian crispy chicken salad just without the chicken and they didn’t seem to understand what I was saying. He apologized for the situation but didn’t offer anything for the inconvience or for me needing to push a second email to get an answer from them. Never going back to that Harvey’s again and I don’t understand how a manager can be so rude as to not offer anything. I work in customer service and if any customer is unhappy I always do my best and offer some sort of compensation for a bad situation or...

This is the absolute worst Harvey’s location I have ever been to, luckily moving out of this area in 2 weeks but having to wait in the drive through as the ONLY car for 14 minutes on 1 original burger and fries is ridiculous on its own, but when it comes with mustard flooding out the side of the burger in the bag and all over the buns when you asked for no mustard only ketchup is mind blowing. I decided to go into the location the second time I visited and the lady working behind the topping selection area but all the toppings stacked up on the burger and then layered on heavy loads of ketchup and mayo put the bun on and watched it all leak out the side of the burger and proceeded to wrap it up in the wrapper and when I commented on it she blamed me for wanting toppings and sauce and said “if you put this all on your burger it will leak out when I squish it down”. How about you put the toppings on the top and sauce on the bottom or vice versa?? So when I take the burger out of the wrapping and the bun is soggy from all the sauce it’s my fault? Do yourself a favour and go to a different Harvey’s, or pickup the 8 pack of angus burgers at the no frills across the street for $12 and make it at home for a much better experience than dealing with this location. “Harvey’s, it’s a beautiful thing” more like “Harvey’s, it’s a miracle...
