Disappointing. If I could give this place 0 stars, unfortunately, I would. This was the worst ice cream experience I've ever had. The service was disappointing. The ice cream was disappointing. The business was disappointing. We had 2 people in front of us and the wait was over 15 minutes. The workers never clean the tables (of which there are only 2 anyway, so it's not like it would take long) and they have such an unfriendly, bordering on disrespectful demeanour. The workers were super rude! Maybe they were having a bad day...regardless, please work on your customer service! Now, to the ice cream: 7$ for three rolls? Give me a break! What an overpriced gimmick! I went with my friend who also thought the ice cream was mediocre and for that price? I think that was extortion at best, robbery at worst. Now on to the business itself- the decor looks like a genocide of color... somewhere a rainbow is weeping. After being blinded by the weirdly pink and purple interior, and trying to find a place to sit, we waited for the other patrons to leave and sat down at (one of two) dirty, sticky tables. When we were about to leave, one of the workers asked us if we wanted the table cleaned! Ha! The worker was standing at the cash register the ENTIRE TIME, and it didn't occur to her that we would like the table cleaned BEFORE we sat down? Unbelievable. Anyways, Lickety Splitz? YOU BEST BELIEVE WE LEFT THIS PLACE LICKETY-SPLIT. I would never return to this place for any reason and I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. In summary, bad service, bad prices, bad ice cream, bad establishment. You're better off going to Dairy De-Lite next door, where you get better service, amazing soft serve, without breaking the bank. Never again, Lickety Splitz,...
Read moreThree people working as it was busy, which was nice to see. However, there are two spots to make the ice cream and only one was being used. It seemed like only 1 person knew how to do this? Perhaps others will be taught soon? The way it flows isn't as productive or efficient as it could be. A lot of people waiting, so the novelty wears out by the time they make yours. I can appreciate its a different preparation process, but compared to videos we've seen of this process, they take longer and some ingredients they add are completely solidified by the time they try to mix it up. We watched one where the marshmallow fluff she added was a little brick in the Centre when it came time to roll. It obviously didn't roll so she took it out and disposed of it. Seems like early stages, need practice or more experience and more people actually making it before I will return. Ice cream tasted good. Some employees were friendly, some not as much. They suggested coming earlier to avoid the crowd but we came at 7:30 and waited an hour and they only open at 4 so I'm not sure coming for ice cream at dinner time is going to fix the wait issue. Id like to come in the early afternoon instead if it...
Read moreI was excited to try this place but it was pretty disappointing when I did. It took a good half an hour to get my ice cream. They have one employee using one side of the ice cream maker. Since they make one at a time the friend you go with will be done their ice cream by the time you get yours. The shop is cute but it definitely needs some board games or other entertainment for the long wait. After finally tasting the ice cream I was disappointed again. It really didn't have much flavour at all, just tasted creamy and I didn't eat it all. The menu has to be scanned by QR code when you arrive, this was just annoying and slows the ordering process while you try to get a signal in the old building. It would definitely help to post it on the wall. Overall this one is a pass, for me. Poor service, long waits, not so tasty product and a high...
