I generally never leave reviews let alone bad reviews.. but I had to this time, I just bought 2 caramel flan from this small business.. the lady at the counter had some kinda attitude which was pretty weird. I asked for a bag to carry the food, (because I was carrying a lot of stuff already and 2 containers of flan without a bag wasn’t ideal, also just FYI I did leave a tip because of the sentiments of supporting small businesses) the first time she said we don’t give take out bags for small purchases .. which is pretty weird, if not giving take out bags are your way of cost cutting get plastic bags I guess.. but whatever then I showed her all the stuff I was carrying in my hand already, she proceeds to roll her eyes and give me a bag…
Everytime I’ve gone to Covent, I or my partner have bought something from this place, I don’t think I’ll be buying anything from here again! Not that it matters but yeah.. that attitude...

Needs flavour. Dry, unsavory fillings for their pastel. It's like eating wall plaster. Why aren't they seasoning their food? There isn't any taste. Where is the Brazilian seasonings? I know Brazilians are minimalists with their flavour profiles, however the richness of fresh flavours should be there. I got dry, flavorless, unsurprising food that it may be from a diner trying to be exotic but failling miserably at trying. What are you afraid of? If you're profiling your country with its amazing food it offers then go for it instead of giving us the pathetic versions. Go big and win it or stay in the shadows and get lost in the crowd,...

Very disappointing, the pastels were very oily, having lived in São Paulo for years I know they are very quick to make. It took them over 20 mins to get our order ready for 4 pastels. They messed up my son's order and my wife's order and gave him them the wrong pastel (he ordered beef and cheese and they gave him chicken and cheese, and her chicken and cheese didn't have any cheese), we ordered brigadeiro, pastel and a drink (which they have as a combo) but they charged us separately making the order more expensive.
Sub par overpriced food, $7-14 for an oily pastel, I will not be returning. $59 for 5 pastels left a bad taste...
