Papa's Pizza Land — Restaurant in Ontario

3rd time ordering.

First time an item was missed and broccoli was rotten on pizza, so we had to throw it out. Manager drove up the missed item and took our concern over broccoli (never heard back though).

Ordered second time and it was great. Crust was good, lots of toppings and cheese. Lasagna also good. Similar to pictures you see here. We thought ok, first order was an anomaly but service is good and it confirmed food is fantastic.

Third time, missed instructions to add mild hot sauce on one, and put sausage on whole instead of half. So we didn't have the plain half expected for one person who only wanted cheese. Pizza was also thinner and very light on cheese. It was overcooked compared to normal ones we had before. The fried curd was also very overcooked where many of the cheese curds were hollow shells of breading. Jalapeno poppers were amazing though.

Did not bother calling, as we wouldn't have time to wait for replacement.

Also, their own website had a $2+ service charge, for pick up! Can't avoid it.. not sure if there is no charge with a phone order.

We gave them 3 chances, mainly because anytime we've talked, they've been very polite. There are other options in town, and we'll return to them, even if price is...

After unsuccessfully trying to place an order on their website, I called and informed them in case anyone else was having an issue. The employee was super kind and explained that since they're newly opened, it's likely just a buggy start for them. The rest of the ordering process was super easy, we ordered an XL, unlimited toppings pizza for $20.99 plus tax, I kid you not. Such a deal, and the pizza box was heavy from all the toppings we had it loaded up with! We enjoyed the pizza at home and my eldest son loved the sausage on his half of the 'zza. We definitely plan to add this establishment into our rotation as it's super convenient when we're in town for extra curriculars and don't have time to prep dinner.
