It was my husbands Birthday last night, and since the roads were horrible, we decided to stay home and order food. I ordered $70 worth of food. Waited 90 min for our food which was understandable, under the circumstances. After opening up all the boxes, I realized I was missing the tenders. I called and spoke to the very ignorant and rude female manager. ( She should be fired) She yelled at me and blamed me for their mistake, saying that she tried to call me an hour after I placed the order to inform me she had no tenders. I told her I never got my receipt and since they ripped me off I wanted to be re-imbursed for the tenders and wanted my receipt! She replied with, âtoo bad, thatâs not how we do things here, itâs your loss.â She hung up on me after I schooled her on her lack of customer service skills. Our whole conversation she refused to listen and insisted on talking over me.
Furthermore, I wasnât aware that she had called me because I was told my food would be an hour and since the hour passed I went outside and waited for a few min. As a manager you never blame the customer for not answering their phone.
After reading a particular review, the store was very aware that they didnât have tenders. If the employees knew there was no tenders for many days, why would they act like they did? Itâs very evident I was charged for the tenders, that were non existent.
I urge people to be very wary when ordering from this location. They are nasty and speak to their customers very aggressively. The owner should be ashamed of him/herself for having such a manager with zero percent integrity and NO class what so ever!

   Read moreWe visited Popeyes and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. It was clear that there were new employees working, and while we completely understand that training takes time, they did not seem to have the proper support to manage the rush efficiently. With only three staff members on duty at least two of whom appeared to be new the restaurant was not properly equipped to handle the busy period.
When we arrived, there was only one person ahead of us, yet by the time we received our food, six other customers who ordered after us including those with larger family meals or with the family meal deal had already been served. While we were patient and understanding, waiting 25 minutes for two simple combo meals during peak hours was excessive.
When we finally asked about our order, it was made at that moment. We also noticed that a sandwich, which had been sitting on the side, was taken out of the bag, had lettuce and tomato added, and was then handed to us. Unfortunately, my sandwich was cold, my partnerâs fries were cold, and his chicken wings were also not warm.
We recognize that new staff members need time to learn, but management should ensure they have the right training and support especially during busy hours to avoid long wait times and inconsistent food quality. We hope to see improvements...

I must first say that the food at Popeyes is good, but what I witnessed during my last visit to the location on Wellington Rd left a bad taste in my mouth. Upon entry to the restaurant I was appalled. Both of the trash containers were overflowing to the point there was garbage on the top and no where left to place trash. Furthermore, there was trash all over several tables. The establishment was filthy to say the least. I approached the counter to ask if someone could tidy up, and another patron must have been thinking the same thing, because she beat me to it. I even contemplated asking for garbage bags and doing it myself. It appeared that although it was not extremely busy, the staff were tired and overworked. Promptly after being told a staff came out to clean it up. My thought though, staff should not have to be asked to keep a dining area to a reasonable standard of cleanliness. If there are visible concerns with cleanliness, one would also question what cannot be seen. I.e. Food preparation practices. I also noticed that management has changed since the last time I visited this location, possibly this is a result of that change. Long story short I will not be returning to this...
