Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House — Restaurant in Ontario

Me and my significate other went in for our 4 year anniversary today, she ordered a crepe and I ordered a pulled pork hash. When her food came it looked great and she was happy, when my food came it only had the home fries, tomato's and onions; There was no pull pork, no buffalo ranch sauce. When I told them to bring it back they came back with just pull pork on it. I tried to eat it but it was bone dry, just home fries and pulled pork at that point. Around this time we were there for about 30 minutes. We both finished our waters and we put our cups on the edge of the table while trying to get the attention of anybody to give us water. We had 5 people walk by us before we finally had someone come by and give us water. When my significate other finished their food I pushed my plate aside because I couldn't eat anymore dry home fries and dry pulled pork. We waited almost 20 minutes to get the first bill, I complained about the food and how I didn't even eat half of the food given because how terrible it was. I spoke with the manager and they said because it was so busy and because they were under staffed we were over looked. We felt completely ignored and that nobody really cared about our issues. Our waitress seemed upset and pissed off that she even had to get me a different cup because I wanted water instead of chocolate milk. I will say, this has been the worst experience I have ever had at a single restaurant. I have been to the other locations in Windsor as well as the location in Amherstburg, all locations I have had issues but only with service. First let me say our Server “Jade” was by far is one of the best servers we’ve had in a restaurant. Jade checked on us for everything and we seen her giving all other customers the same consistent service. Jade shared brief dialogue with us while serving us and was very friendly and smiling continuously. Drinks and Food was brought out quickly. We ordered a clubhouse sandwich and my spouse wasn’t feeling the greatest so he didn’t want much so I made my side fries into a poutine when I ordered and I expressed to Jade that he’ll just eat my poutine. Jade was amazing and put the poutine on a separate plate for him which was amazing for her to do that for him. He had my try one of the fries because he said “ the gravy is the best he’s had in a poutine “ and I agree!! I don’t know what brand it is but it’s delicious and not salty tasting like most. So please don’t change it!! I really enjoyed my clubhouse. I didn’t have one for a very long time and this was so delicious with the melted cheese and shaved ham, etc. I only ate half and put the other half in our cooler and ate it when I got home. I had to drive 3 hours back home to Woodstock and didn’t want to be overly full for the drive. It was just as good when I got home. This is 2nd time we ate at this location when we’ve visited Windsor and we’ll continue to return on our visits. We love the Stacked chain and typically have a great experience. This time however was not the case. Food was subpar, I had the GBC avocado toast hash browns did not taste fresh, they were lukewarm almost cold and chewy. Bacon was cold. Soft poached was perfect though. One kid had the French toast she seemed to enjoy it, we did the added bacon that was not added to the meal (we didn’t realize this until she asked me for my bacon). The banana bread French toast was dry. Now onto service. Our food came out before our drinks, we had to ask where there drinks were, then he brought out orange juice instead of apple for the kids and our smoothie, got that swapped out then proceeds to ask if anything else was missing which the water was so we let him know. After having to ask for the drinks then also our water I was going to let him know about the bacon but he never return to our table. Atmosphere, it was frigid cold in there. Made it hard to enjoy the meal we were served. So we ate and packed the rest up and left. All in all it was such a poor experience for it being a Stacked chain. Maybe we’ll try the other one across...
