Wow!! Walked into this place to get my daughter some ice cream, there were about 8 people in front of us. We waited patiently for the kids that were working there to scramble to get everyone's order, Finally was able to read the menu, and holy frostbite Batman!! $9 for a single tiny scoop of chocolate ice cream! Just not to disappoint my youngest child we reluctantly purchased her the scoop. For the rest of our group we all passed and drove across the street to get milkshakes at the Harvey's drive-thru,where we did not have to break the bank, 3 milkshakes were larger and cheaper than that single scoop at BR. Why in the world was there a mini lineup there of people buying this ridiculously priced frozen milk at BR? You can go buy better ice cream at the grocery store for way less, and you don't have to endure the sad and dirty looks to put money in the multiple tip cups they have on their counters. No tip cups at drive-thrus yet.. If nobody paid for these ridiculous prices, they would be forced to lower the price,if nobody purchased gas for a day,the price would drop. Everyone is tip crazy these days, everywhere you go they want tips. Order a pizza in the old days and the delivery driver may get a tip,if they didn't it wasn't the end of the world. Now you drive to pickup your pizza because it's cheaper for you and them and at checkout you are bombarded with tip percentages on payment machine..why would I tip a pizza chef/owner who is already making a wage and profit on a pizza before I eat my pizza? We have all had bad pizza experiences,do you tip at a restaurant before your meal? NO! You tip on food quality and service received. Allow people to leave a tip after I've eaten my takeout food. That way you will eliminate begging, negativity and confrontations, everyone has seen the online videos of delivery drivers tossing peoples order on the ground or waking away because of no tip or low tip. Not everyone has the money to tip..and people should not feel ashamed, embarrassed, or berated if they don't tip. Maybe it's time to STOP THE INSANITY and end tipping before everyone starts wanting a piece of the gratuity pie. Imagine tipping your doctor, dentist, mechanic, car sales person,a friendly police officer after he has just given you a ticket for speeding. Of course, if we start tipping doctors, their receptionists would start putting jars out also,as would the office cleaners. How long before Amazon drivers start asking for tips or your next delivery may end up missing or smashed if you failed to tip them last time. Bring on the AI workers and delivery drivers......machines don't need or require tips,of course they will probably program the robots to ask for tips for a more realistic experience and claim it helps to offset the cost of...
Read moreNot happy with my cake order. Unprofessional customer service in response to my complaint. I ordered a cake that was supposed to have cake in it. We cut the cake and there was no cake in it. When I called I was greeted with rudeness, and responded with lies. Instead of admitting their mistake, I was told she had left me a voicemail saying the size of the cake was too small to be able to have cake in it. I never received a call, and there was no voicemail. When faced with a complain, don't LIE!
Never buying a cake from you again. And, don't answer the phone saying "You're speaking to the person who made the cake. Is there an issue?" First, of all, that is rude. I am calling with a concern. You should answer saying, "How can I help you with your concern?" Or, "What concern do you have regarding the cake I made?" Learn some customer service. Or, is this how you talk to your customers who don't have english names?
At the end, I was told in a snarky manner, "Okay, I am sorry for your inconvenience. Now, what do you want me to do about it?" I said, "nothing. Just thought I would mention it." Shouldn't the response be, "What can WE do to make your experience better?" Please teach your staff some MANNERS. I didn't call for a refund or anything. I just wanted you to admit that a mistake was made... either you didn't notice the cake part, or you forgot to call. Or, if it's really true the cake couldn't be done as I ordered it, why was it not mentioned to me when I was ordering it, which was in person at the store with a staff who politely took my order. When it's your mistake, don't show me attitude.

Read moreI recently visited the store and had a very disappointing experience. The staff member there was rude and didn’t seem to know the store’s policies. We had placed an order over the phone for pralines and a cream cake. When my friend arrived to pick up the order, they were only given the remaining cake, without being offered the option to choose from the fridge. Since my friend wasn’t aware, he took the cake.
When we got home, we saw that the cake was overly decorated and not what we had requested. We only wanted a simple praline and cream cake. We called the store to confirm that they would replace the cake, and a staff member assured us they would. However, after driving 10-11 km back to the store, we were told they wouldn’t replace the cake because it had writing on it. The staff member cited “rules” but should have clarified this with us over the phone.
Additionally, when we asked about the cake’s expiry date, we were given incorrect information. We even requested a refund, but it was denied. We ended up wasting more than $50 and didn’t get the cake we wanted. This experience ruined a special occasion and showed a lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
Thank you for ruining someone’s birthday and demonstrating that you don’t care about your...
