Absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered takeout, which was a main dish with two chicken skewer add-ons, paid, and left. When I got home, I opened my meal only to find that instead of two skewers, I received 2 small extra pieces of chicken (you know, the cubes that come off the actual skewer). I went back to the restaurant to resolve it, thinking surely they made a mistake, but to my shock- no, $18 was actually the correct add-on price for 2 little cubes of chicken and if I wanted 2 skewers, the add-on price for that is $32. (The math on that doesn’t add up no matter how you look at it). Alas, you’d think that was biggest issue I had, and although it should’ve been, it was not. The manager came out — and proceeded to make an absolute mockery of me, which I still cannot wrap my head around because I did not argue or make a scene about it. Instead of addressing the mistake professionally, he pulled out the menu and spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I were a child who count to 3. He claimed I was charged the wrong amount and insisted that two skewers should cost an additional $32 on top of my meal — making my total over $82 for just one dish and two skewers. That is beyond unreasonable, and I cannot imagine anyone thinking that’s fair pricing but it is not my restaurant or menu to price. However as a paying customer, I do have to say you should make these things more clear while ordering, to avoid these mistakes and also hiring some more English speaking employees wouldn’t hurt.

The manager’s attitude was rude, dismissive, and downright uncalled for and left me extremely uncomfortable. The manager needs some re-training in the customer service department.

I took my parents to Almast Turkish and Mediterranean Cuisine for their wedding anniversary, having seen many positive posts about the restaurant on Instagram. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and far from the glowing reviews we had seen.

We ordered a tray of four dips, a mixed pide, kafta Adana, and chicken wings. Out of the four dips, only the cucumber and ayran dip was palatable. The mixed pide and kafta Adana were decent, with fresh meat and a strong gamy flavor. However, the chicken wings had a rancid taste, which was unpleasant.

Only one of four dips was edible, chicken wings tasted rancid, and the cheesecake was dry and flat. Mixed pide and kafta Adana were okay, but service was chaotic with no host, frazzled servers, and food arriving before the table was set with plates. Only bottled water is served. Not what we expected.

For dessert, we tried the burnt Basque cheesecake, which was dry, clunky, and flat instead of the expected fluffy texture.

Service was chaotic. There was no host greeting guests and different servers coming to our table, all seeming shy, frazzled, and unwelcoming. Our food arrived before any plates were provided, and only bottled water was available upon request, no tap water is served.

Service was not great. Server took our order and asked if we wanted anything to drink we asked for water. They only had bottled water this is not what we expected. We ordered the appetizer dip plater they had run out of one kind so I asked for hummus instead. The hummus was not the greatest baba ghoul was ok the cucumber and yogurt was ok as well and the forth was the mixed veggies with spices was not the best as well. We ordered after the meat flat bread which was good. We also ordered the family tray for 4 and it didn’t come complete no lamb chops and no chicken thighs on the tray. There was two lamb skewers and two chicken skewers which one of each came after the tray was served to us. The chicken wings were not good at all they had a different taste to them which was not good. There was lamb ribs which were all fat and no meat on them there was cheeses chicken and beef that were very dry. We asked for bread and the gave us one piece and we were six people What we got on that tray was not worth the price.

Server never came to check on us and we still did not have our waters. It’s was not a good experience and we did not like the food and it’s way over priced for the portions they serve. Will not be recommending this to anyone and will not...
