During my recent visit to Sugar Marmalade in Windsor, I had the pleasure of experiencing their Mango Shaved Ice. The dish is a vibrant and refreshing treat, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth or looking to beat the heat.

The shaved ice was delicately prepared, finely textured, and melted effortlessly in my mouth. It was topped with generous chunks of fresh mango, drizzled with sweet condensed milk, and a scoop of smooth, creamy vanilla ice cream crowning the top. The combination of these elements created a harmonious balance of flavors - the sweetness of the mango complemented by the richness of the ice cream and the slight crunch from the shaved ice.

What made the experience even more enjoyable was the impeccable service. I was attended to by Sylvia, who was extremely friendly and made sure everything was perfect. Her warm and welcoming demeanor added a personal touch to the visit, making me feel valued as a customer.

Ordered kimchi fries And green tea ice cream

Prior ordering, asked the waiter if the fries are spicy or mild... she said OH ITS NOT SPICY AT ALL!

Well it was super spicy that we couldn't even have more than 3 pieces.

We asked to bring some water for us, it took another 15 mins. By then I spoke to the other waiter Me: " hey, before ordering this we asked your colleague and she said it's not spicy at all! However it's super spicy! " Waiter: " oh I see, well it's a preference. For some people is spicy, you know... let me bring a bowl of water so you can wash your fries" Me: "huh....ok-ayyyy..."

The waiter comes with a bowl of water!

Like am I suppose to bath my fries and enjoy the wet fries hoping the spices were washed off! Give me a break!

What this place needs is a good CUSTOMERS SERVICE!

Any other restaurant would have replaced the fries but I'm not sure if it was a cultural thing for them or if that's how the customer service work in Korea.

Wouldn't recommend this place! Simply because we were treated so bad! Customer service 101 .. No...

The desserts were incredibly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. There’s also a DIY option, so you can easily choose from their ice cream varieties, flavours, toppings, etc. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. The mango sago was a personal favorite—so refreshing and full of flavour but I missed clicking a picture of that! Other ones we tried were strawberry and honeydew flavours with shaved ice. Tried waffles too and they were A-MAZING! My friends even tried popcorn chicken and they said it tasted delicious, so just a suggestion if you’re looking for a meal option. They don’t have any diary free options or dietary restrictions, so do confirm with them before ordering, the server is really nice and explains everything in detail.
