Pictures are taken by my friend Bianca during our visit. Thr place is very clean in a very nice atmosphere. House plum juice is served with your visit. It has a nice flavor that it not "thick" and the perfect amount of sweetness.
You order your apps via qr code with your phone. You do not pay at that time. You then go over to the food display and choose your variety of ingredients for your hot pot soup. There's an array of fresh vegetables; cabbage, cilantro, seafood mushrooms, lotus root, broccoli and cauliflower to name a few. There is an assortment of fresh seafood like mussles and shrimps. Additionally, there are a LOT of new things to try (too many to name). You then go to the cashier and he weighs your soup ingredients (minimum of 400g)and asks what base and spice you would like. They will also ask if you would like to add chicken or beef. With the added appetizers, you pay for everything then. You then return to your seat to sit down.
The soup base was amazing. I had braised with beef. I had no spice because I am a wimp, and it was still very very delicious. The portion was huge and it took me 3 meals to eat it all. My soup came to $8, which I feel was an amazing deal.
You eat the soup with chop sticks, however they do have spoons but you have to ask.
At the time of our visit there wasn't enough tongs for selecting our ingredients so me and my friend shared. There are not individual tongs for each ingredient so please beware if you have food allergies as everything can touch. I didn't mind this.
I had to ask for extra napkins and I ended up with slurpy soup mess on my shirt... yes it was that good!
They were busy that day and were very friendly. They don't necessarily "wait" on your table --you do have to go to the counter to request for things. That's why I gave 4 out of 5. If this is a standard for hot pots--- I'll gladly change my star rating.
It wsd fun to go out and try something new. I would go back. The soup and apps were delicious and I felt it was quite healthy! Thank you perfect meat bowl for a lovely time.
It's gaining traction on Windsor Food Spotters -- so Def head there before it...
Read moreThis place is a 10/10 restaurant with great food. The atmosphere is amazing and so clean with amazing and understanding staff. ( perfect first date spot) The food was great, I got the spicy sour (mild) broth and it was spicy but so flavourful and so smoothing( would be great if you’re sick or it’s cold outside) the variety is nice and the way you get to pick what you put in your soup makes me comfortable and happy with what i chose, my mom got the spicy (mild) broth and she said it had just the right amount of spice and it was smooth and satisfying. The fried milk was AMAZING (I love fried milk ) it is so smooth on the inside with such a nice crunch to it, I only wish they had strawberry sauce to go on top, then it would be perfect. Overall our experience was 10/10 and definitely will be coming back. (Oh and the peach juice...
Read moreThey offer a great selection of flavorful soup bases to choose from, each packed with depth and spice. What really stands out is the huge variety of toppings. Options ranging from fresh veggies to a wide range of proteins. I love how customizable it is. You get to build your perfect meal exactly how you want it. The quality and quantity of the ingredients are both impressive, especially considering the price.
On top of that, I’m obsessed with their deep-fried eggplant and fried milk, two of my absolute favorite things to order. The fried chicken is solid too, and their plum juice is so refreshing it keeps you coming back. Overall, I’m just glad Windsor has a place like this that nails great food, great portions, and...
