Terrible restaurant and owner. My dad and 16 month old accompanied me to this restaurant. I ordered the vegetable pancake appetizer and dish with a fried egg, beef, rice and vegetables for my main course. My dad had a yellow curry dish with shrimp.

The vegetable pancake was okay, I wouldn’t have ordered it again. It came with a saucer or soya sauce with sesame seed sprinkled on top.

When my entrée arrived I didn’t immediately recognize that it was the wrong dish (cabbage, thinly sliced and chopped pork, tofu slivered accompanied by sides of mashed potato, kimchi...) I brought a silicone dish from home to feed my son, he was hungry so I put some food from my plate on his dish. I took a few bites and realized it wasn’t what I ordered. It lacked flavour and barely had any pork. I asked for a menu in order to verify what I had initially ordered.

10 minutes later, the owner and the waitress show up and it’s confirmed that I definitely received the wrong entrée. The owner isn’t apologetic at all and blamed me for taking too long to realize that they brought me the wrong food. Also, he said that I shouldn’t have started to eat it if it was wrong and didn’t offer to bring what I had initially ordered. To show the owner, I ended up putting my sons portion back on my plate which almost made it a full plate again.

Nothing was done to rectify their mistake, no discount...no apology. Nothing. The owner insinuated that I wanted it for free, which wasn’t true. I just wanted what I had initially ordered and separate bills.

I ended up calculating the separate bills myself.

Total disappointment and a complete ripoff. First and last time I...

THIS place is that unique, special, “hidden gem” spot to eat that is bursting with authenticity, great service and just an incredible array of dishes, flavours, smells and SOUNDS! Love how my bowl just SIZZLES when it comes out. Been coming here for well over a decade - close to 15 years - and it’s NEVER disappointed. Was not familiar with Korean food before this place - and this is the real deal. I get the Sizzling Bibimbab - and it’s been my go-to for years. But they also have Korean fried chicken, all kinds of incredible meat dishes - and so many vegetarian and vegan options too. Service is always kind and efficient and friendly. A wonderful experience and somehow, the food gets better EVERY time! It might be tucked away - but it’s absolutely worth searching out, and experiencing for yourself. So. Good!!!! Discovered it at a festival by the river years back, and have been a fan ever...

Loved the all you can eat bbq and drinking soju while eating it. I just wish it came with soup and it would be nice if they could ask us what vegetables we would like and have them set it all on one platter instead of having a very simple buffet style set on the side of the restaurant. There was this milk-apple drink that they had in a can which was so good and I had a waffle with vanilla and banana slices which was good as well. I would like to try other things on their menu next time. They look really good. The owners are so nice.

Update: Just wanted to say the croquette and japchae are so good!!! The croquette was my absolute favorite. I love potatoes which had a mixture of crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth mashed potatoes...

I’ve been coming here for years, and this restaurant has always been reliable with its menu, portion sizes, and authentic Korean flavors. The only thing that has changed is the prices, which is understandable given the current economy and cost of imported goods. I give this place 5 stars for its great food and homely atmosphere. My only suggestion is that the servers come out from the back more frequently during the meal, as I often have to ask for things like extra kimchi or water refills myself… Other than that, all servers are very kind and accommodating although some could improve on taking more initiative with customers. - A loyal customer 🫰

The best food this restaurant has are its homemade side dishes. Which to be fair, are complementary with every meal. Windsor Seoul is always empty, cheaps out on the meat, and gives preferential treatment to members of their Korean church. This place used to be called Naysa, back in the day, it was named after the owners' newborn daughter. After ownership changed hands and the rebrand, the food declined sharply in quality and has never quite been the same.
