I’ve generally had pretty good experiences here. But today a young barista took my order, an Americano, he removed and looked in the portafilter, which had used grounds in it, then he stuck it back in the machine and started brewing my espresso.
As a cafe, if you’re using and reusing espresso grounds, your customers aren’t going to be very happy. I had to stop him and request fresh grounds, even then he just topped the used grounds up. Management… as a policy, every espresso needs to be brewed in a clean portafilter and with fresh grounds. Read morei got the mini pumpkin pie, strawberry and cream croissant & what was supposed to be a bacon egg and cheese croissant i didnt realize until i got home that i was given a ham and bree croissant although it was good it wasn't what i ordered, i feel like the strawberry cream croissant was lacking in sugar i couldnt taste any sugar at all and i was expecting it to be a bit sweet but it wasn't so i gave it to my Dad who is diabetic and he absolutely loved it but my pumpkin pie was the star of the show it was so good i will have to go back for another one. overall if you like not very sweet desserts then i would saw the strawberry croissant...
