A hearty breakfast spot with some of the best tasting peameal bacon I have had in a while. Food portions were excellent and worth the price paid per dish. The breakfast potatoes were on point - soft inside with that crispy outer skin, just delicious! They also serve baked beans with their breakfast dishes which is a taste and belly warming touch. There are a few gluten free breakfast options but make sure to reconfirm ingredients to ensure the food prep meets dietary requirements. Should you decide to get the French Toast one should expect bread pieces coated with a thick layer of egg which is quite a departure from traditional French Toast receipts but may work for some pallets. The only areas lacking during their breakfast service in my view and that would take this restaurant to a 5 star experience would be attentive servers - focus on refills and check on food allergies/sensitivities. The other area would be to watch for items like burnt toast before it's brought to the table. No lactose or dairy free milk options available at the time this review was written. Overall a breakfast restaurant worth checking out with ample dining space and that awesome early morning coffee, eggs and bacon smell!

1st time here. Service was good. Seemed to be a family owned business (which makes it better imo). Food was good. My partner got a breakfast plate and the peameal bacon was so good, almost like pork chops. My salad was refreshing, perfect amount of dressing..and again aasnt expecting actual cooked crumbled bacon!!♡ (another bonus!) I wasn't expecting FRESH strawberries on my waffle either. (Bonus). I was hesitant to get strawberries thinking it was the syrupy, soggy style you often get served. NOPE, FRESH!! I mean look at the strawberries?!!! Only thing I can really say was I wasn't impressed with the actual waffle. I am not sure if the batter was TOO dry? It almost seemed like a pancake, muffin mix. It separated too easily, crumbled. But other than that, cute place..kitchen seemed clean also. =)

What a wonderful place busy great place to have breakfast when we did go there we had egg Benedicts on crab cakes hollandaise sauce home fries We also had the Uber breakfast which is pancakes sausages ham or you can have that with French toast I took mine with French toast The coffee is very good the food was delicious and filling as you can see by the portions it's very large so the price is definitely matching with the portions you get. It is a busy place so be patient also the servers are waitress to cook all great people What I do like is you can actually see some of the food being served up so you're seeing what's happening which is a great concept. Again I was very happy with the service the food I think it's a pretty wild beautiful restaurant clean everyone's polite and professional

Nonsense food! Went here for lunch and was impressed by the simplicity of the restaurant and the menu. For a diner that is all you really need. I had the Cuban sandwich, which was very good. I have a taste for a bit more savory pulled pork, but this was still very good. The size was ideal for lunch, not too big that I wanted to have a nap afterwards! My eating partner had the BLT. Which I quote, "Had lots of bacon". It did! He was so excited to dig in I couldn't get a pic! Prices are great, $10 for a sandwich, you can't go wrong! There is parking out front, we found a lot just down the street. Diner itself is clean, bright and welcoming. Service was ok, but you really are there for the food. I want to go back and try the breakfast which looks amazing.

This is the kind of place you don't expect to be in Downtown Oshawa! 1. The Venue: A surprisingly modern atmosphere for what is pretty much a greasy spoon. Very hip look, plenty of seating... Parking on the street was available. 2. The Food: They don't serve bacon. Rather they pride themselves on their peameal bacon. I'm not normally a peameal bacon guy, but let me tell you... It was juicy and perfectly spiced. I got a pork belly bahn mi sandwich... And it was absolutely delicious. My wife got the peameal bacon and eggs. I also got a side order of sausage to share. All of it was top notch. 3. Service: very friendly! The food took a BIT longer than expected, but with the quality, it was worth the wait. FYI: NO CREDIT CARD (cash and debit only)

omg i am so so happy i found this place! the food is amazing and you get an incredible amount for the price! i ordered a waffle and it smelt like waffles in the whole restaurant also the staff are super friendly witch is really nice i am now making a point to come here at least once a week with my dad! this location used to be a diamond grill and the food was just as good then as it is now under new owners and under a different name. i could not be happier with this place in fact i think ill go back tomorrow. i highly recommend this place give it a try it will for sure be youre new favorite to! 11/10
