Hurry Curry is a fantastic recent addition to the Oshawa Centre food court, and it truly stands out as a must-visit for lovers of authentic Indian cuisine. The staff are consistently friendly, professional, and inviting, providing exceptional customer service that makes every visit a pleasure. One of their best innovations is offering free samples so you can try a dish before committing—this thoughtful gesture enhances the overall customer experience and ensures satisfaction with your order.
They are incredibly accommodating and flexible with their menu. I often request my thali without rice, and they always make adjustments based on personal preferences, offering a customised meal every time. Whether you're craving curry, samosas, or refreshing beverages, the quality of food is outstanding.
I especially recommend their Masala Chai (unsweetened option), which is bursting with flavour and a personal favourite. Be sure to ask for their loyalty card during your next visit to enjoy rewards and future perks.
My one suggestion for improvement would be to add ThumbsUp cola and Kulfi to their menu. These authentic Indian favourites would offer a more unique experience compared to the standard North American versions of cola and ice cream found elsewhere.
Overall, if you're looking for high-quality food, top-notch service, and an inviting experience in the Oshawa Centre food court, Hurry Curry is a standout choice. Highly recommended!

Read moreThe Manager here is a great man and very good at his job! He manages a variety of locations and is extremely nice, and enthusiastic! My girlfriend has never tried curry before and I was trying to gain her interest in it. As the other reviews mentioned, the manager was very adamant that we try some samples (who’s going to turn down free samples). Place is well run, looks clean and the food is great. Be mindful that it does have a bit of a spice but there are other options available! Portions are large - but a little pricey I’d say. The customer service and portions make up for the price in a way. If it was a bit cheaper, customers would probably return more frequently - boosting sales and loyal customers! I highly recommend giving this place a shot! Management has this place extremely well run and really knows how to draw interest. They are very generous with their samples as long as you don’t take advantage I’d assume of course. I would like to point out that good customer service and generosity is hard to find. These people truly care about their customers and their business. Keep up the great work, you are all really good at...

When I walked over to their establishment at the OC food court, it was only because Shanghai 360 was closed and I was curious what Hurry Curry sold. The woman behind the counter offered me different samples of the curry and I ended up settling on two flavours - Chef’s Special (which had a nice flavour and mild spiciness behind it) and Tikka Masala (a big go-to for me) you could add Naan to your meal for an extra buck (butter or garlic) and WOW what a portion you get. It’s baked to order and not only was it beastly, it was absolutely delicious.
I don’t normally leave reviews but the gentleman asked me to and honestly I feel this delicious food warrants that.
Not only was it a blessing in disguise that Shanghai 360 was closed…but I may have found my new favourite establishment at the food court. I’ll...
