I recently had the pleasure of visiting Baxter's Landing and was fortunate enough to have the esteemed mixologist, Greg, craft some of the most exquisite cocktails I've ever tasted. From the moment I took a seat at the bar, I knew I was in for a memorable experience.

Greg's passion for mixology is palpable. His extensive knowledge of spirits, flavor profiles, and the art of cocktail creation is simply remarkable. He effortlessly weaves together ingredients, transforming them into liquid masterpieces that tantalize the senses and leave you craving for more.

What sets Greg apart from other bartenders is his genuine care for each customer. He takes the time to understand your preferences, crafting bespoke cocktails tailored to your individual taste. His attention to detail is awe-inspiring, ensuring that every drink he serves is a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

One aspect that truly stood out during my time at Baxter's Landing was Greg's remarkable creativity. He pushes the boundaries of mixology, infusing unexpected ingredients and innovative techniques to create cocktails that are truly unique. I found myself constantly amazed by the inventive combinations he presented, each one a delightful surprise that left me longing for another sip.

Aside from his exceptional mixology skills, Greg's warm and charismatic personality further enhances the experience. He effortlessly engages with customers, sharing stories behind the drinks and creating a vibrant atmosphere at the bar. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious, making every visit to Baxter's Landing an unforgettable journey.

Furthermore, Greg's professionalism and efficiency are commendable. Even during busy nights, he manages to maintain a calm and composed demeanor, ensuring that every guest receives the attention they deserve. His ability to multitask without compromising the quality of his cocktails is truly impressive.

In addition to his expertise behind the bar, Greg's knowledge of the menu is extensive. He skillfully pairs cocktails with various dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience and showcasing his culinary expertise. His recommendations are spot-on, showcasing his dedication to ensuring guests have a memorable time.

Without a doubt, Greg is an invaluable asset to Baxter's Landing. His skill, creativity, and genuine passion for mixology are evident in every cocktail he creates. If you have the opportunity to visit Baxter's Landing, do yourself a favor and sit at Greg's bar. Prepare to be captivated by his talent, and leave with memories of an unforgettable evening.

Baxters Landing was a restaurant that my wife and I enjoyed going to. The last 2 times that we have gone for dinner here the food was okay. I ordered nachos 2 visits ago and they were cold and many of the nacho chips were baked onto the paper lining, my wife enjoyed her meal. Last night we tried our luck again - I ordered the Landing Carbonara and a side Caesar salad and my wife ordered the nachos. We waited a very long time for the food which was alarming because the restaurant was not very busy. They brought the nachos and my side Caesar salad at the same time and the Landing Carbonara came about 30 seconds later. I think that when the Wait Staff brings pasta to a table the first thing that they should ask if it is not already on the pasta is "Do you want parmesan cheese with that?" I had to flag our Wait Staff to get some parmesan cheese which was about 10 minutes after the pasta was delivered. When our Wait Staff asked how our meal was when she delivered the bill, my wife mentioned that 60% of the chips were stuck to the paper and our Wait Staff's response was "Good." which indicates that either she was not listening or really did not care. Did something happen at this location? Change of ownership? Chef change? I mentioned to my wife last night that I would love to be one of those food critics hired by the restaurant to evaluate the customer's experience. We spoke last night that we go out for dinner 2-3 times per week and we do not value the experience as someone else whose money may be tighter but they would go out for a special experience. Based upon our last two times at Baxters Landing we feel that we just filled our stomachs and the experience was not that good. Maybe in a couple of years we will try this...

I am going to share the story of Baxters Landing making me forget about a very difficult week on Friday evening.

Friday evening my parents, my hudsband and two little boys were waiting for me at the restaurant, as I was coming from a long drive back from Toronto. Everyone was ready to order. As soon as my hudsband mentioned where we where going are for dinner, I knew exactly what I wanted. It's the same dish I always order here. Their delicious seafood risotto. Unfortunately, they have changed their menu and their risotto was a vegetarian risotto.

Our lovely waitress (I wish I could remember her name), saw how bad I wanted this sea food risotto. Without me asking, she offered to ask the busy chef if they could make me the sea food risotto. She came back. I wasn't expecting, for a busy chef to change a whole dish just for me. But this amazing chef made it possible. I was the most happiest lady in that restaurant.

I couldn't extent my gratitude in person at the moment as I was with my busy 2 and 4 year old boys. We were celebrating my dad's birthday. The best way to let them know how happy they made me and how great they are, is to leave a great review for these amazing team. I know how busy they were, and again without me asking they went above a beyond their fabulous customer service.

I wish they could keep their risotto for life in their Menu, its my favorite dish, and the fact that they had seafood version it was beyond my dreams. Please consider having the option of adding sea food to it. I love how they are making it inclusive for vegetarian people though.

This was an amazing experience as always! Thank you Chef and thank your to our lovely waitress for everything you did and the wonderful...

My partner and I reserved a table for Valentines day which was a special 4 course $120 meal. The meal started with a baked brie with pesto, pistachio and balsamic strawberries. This was a great start, well balanced flavors with sweetness and savory. Absolutely amazing flavor. Second course was a creamy yet acidic tomato bisque and a mushroom and truffle crostini. The crostini is earthy and savory, and the tomato bisque is more acidic than expected but nice in small amounts. Third course was steak with garlic butter confit, garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The steak and mashed potatoes are perfectly made. We also had the pesto and artichoke gnocchi which was really good. The artichoke adds a nice smokey roasted flavor to the pasta. The final course was Baxters Landing classic sticky toffee pudding and a creme Brule. The pudding is rich and sweet as always and the creme Brule was creamy and sweet, just the right amount. The server was very kind and made great conversation with us between courses. The atmosphere is always nice here. An adequate amount of distance between tables except for the booth beside us being a little too close to where we felt like the next couple was sitting with us.
