3 BITES Shawarma, Greek & Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

Ordered souvlaki and Shwarma take out on their website. Noted that the menu says each souvlaki plate come with 2 skewers but when you order it upcharges you $3.80 for the 2 skewers that should be included but figured I'd mention it when I paid. I'll admit I forgot to mention it before I paid because I was exhausted and just wanted to.get out of there- but then almost picked up the wrong order after giving him my name and the counter person stating that the 5 person shwarma platter was mine- I honestly only realized it when I looked at the flat platter and the label on the till. We both realized there was an $8 difference and rather than making him refund me because he was busy I said he could just throw in extra skewers if that was easier.

Waited way past the estimated time for which the person apologized which wasn't great but not a deal breaker. He said that the extra skewers were in the bag. I didn't check and got home to 1 extra skewer. So between the 2 extra charges on the website and $8 extra charge I mind as well have ordered another meal.

Potatoes were undercooked, lamb was over cooked, rice was OK. Husband said the chicken souvlaki was good.

The guy working the counter was really nice and obviously busy- he said he was short staffed quite a few times which I felt bad about. So maybe give consider that if you're reading...

What gives zero stars if I could totally disgusting went there for a pizza and the pizza didn’t look good at all do you want to eat it as waiting for our order? We watched them cross contaminate everything and not even stopped to wash her hands before they went from veggies and all the sauces were uncovered, and they were using the same spoon and same dirty bowl I made two different orders with them I will never go here again and also, they had sauce on their bare hands and wiped it right back in to the sauce container containing the sauce that they used to serve other orders completely appalled, and the pizza cutter was even very dirty and touching orders with their bare hands not impressed worked in many kitchens myself and restaurants, and I’ve always had to sanitize my hands and sanitize all the tools I was using in between and never use dirty utensils to make another person‘s first time going there and my very last going there and the two people that were working the front counter weren’t even older than maybe 16 to 18 years old and they weren’t...

Have to update my review. UPDATE: Not sure if ownership has changed, but we ordered pizza and greek and were disappointed with all the food. Cheese was not the quality it used to be, and no longer that melty good quality it was. Sauce used to be so fresh tasting and now its bland, and they did not add extra sauce like we asked. Greek food was usually better than greek on wheels, but not anymore. Shrimp overcooked and un edible and hard, rice was mushy with too much turmeric, potatoes tasted warmed up. Salad was good but dressing was bland. Had been a year since we last ordered, and things change. Delivery was fast and convenient as it used to be. So sad to see when places are forced to reduce the quality of their ingredients and we pay alot for this food. Order was $85 and not worth half that. I find its most places now that are cutting back on quality. Time to go back to eating homemade pizza and homecooked meals on...
