During our recent trip to Ottawa from Montreal, my family (two adults and four kids) stumbled upon an incredible restaurant that exceeded all expectations. Run by a warm and welcoming couple, this spot offered not only delicious food with a creative twist but also a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends. The owners’ passion for their food and hospitality was evident in every interaction. The menu featured classic dishes with unique, flavourful twists. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.

What truly set this place apart was its dedicated kids’ section filled with games, making it an absolute win for families. Our kids were entertained and happy, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meal—a rare treat when dining out as a family of six!

Bamm’s is like a warm hug. Their chicken sandwich was like a warm sun peaking out on a day of grey cold and drenched clouds creating a bright spot in my life while I enjoyed it.

The restaurant is a leader in community involvement among restaurants, participating in community fundraiser walks, cooking for the local food bank, participating in month long fundraising initiatives (their United Way Novemburger entry was the winner by the way), and creating approachable food options for the surrounding community.

As most millennials, I also have a soft spot for nostalgia and Bamm’s love and celebration of the 90’s nurtures my millennial desire to be comforted by pop culture of my childhood.
