Nice presentation Update 2023-10 Markup has risen to about 150%. Comparing the sashimi size and other ingredients used in the chirashi bowl at wholesale pricing, the bowl costs about $7.50-$10.00 to assemble and costs about $23 before taxes. There is also a novelty tax because it’s Ottawa, I believe, since it’s hard to find good sushi here and the comparatively the calibre of this food is decent for Ottawa. You can feed an Ottawa maggots and they’ll love it because they won’t know any better lol. We are not in Vancouver, so anyone that blows this place up with accolades is going to lack depth of life experience. It still does the job on a craving, but it won’t beat prepping yourself with fresh sashimi from a fishmonger. Update 2022-08 Portions for poke bowls are getting progressively smaller with an extreme reduction in edamame and avocado, with a greater emphasis on cheaper produce. But even then the cheaper produce (cabbage and carrots, which are SO CHEAP, are exceptionally spare). Even with inflation I feel like the markup has gone up from the standard 70% closer to 85%. It has become extremely poor value. I counted a total of 6 pieces of edamame peas (not pods) and 1/8 (12.5%) of an avocado in a single wedge sliced into 5 pieces crosswise. Cutting them into thinner strips instead would have at least provided the illusion of more. Update 2022-08-18 About a year later, prices are higher and hand rolls have shrunken. (Old photo: brown paper wrap finished in 6 bites; new photo: deli paper wrap finished in 2.5 bites; you have to remove the tape before you can compost it properly). Definitely not tipping next time because the exorbitant profits can be used to raise wages.

I really hate leaving negative reviews of small businesses but it's so hard to find good sushi in town and I saw high ratings on a few delivery apps so I figured it was amazing. The sushi pieces are just way too big but the rice is cooked well and the California roll was the "best" the dynamite shrimp seemed to have soggy shrimp and the salmon over the salmon sushi tasted funky. The sashimi was fresh and nice just wish it was a thicker cut. The soy sauce comes in packets which was annoying. I dont have dishes to do my mix but luckily they gave a plastic container with extra ginger and wasabi so I emptied that out and used it... A 2 star because some good but overall not great sushi...won't be ordering again.

I was very pleasantly surprised! The tuna kamikaze roll was delicious. It was better than a typical ‘pretty good’. But they could improve on their rolling bc some of the rolls fell apart. The chirashi was just so good.. I was very happy while eating haha The serving size is big, and I absolutely loved how they put many big chunks of sashimis in there. They were huge! They didn’t hesitate on how much ingredients they put in. It was delicious! I will definitely come again. + the quality and quantity has degraded a bit..

First time ordering delivery from this restaurant. I ordered the GoGiYa Korean Fried Chicken Bowl, Salmon Kamikaze, and dynamite Explosion. Overall, the quality was okay. The fried chicken bowl would definitely be better if I had ordered it at the restaurant. This is my fault for ordering something fried over delivery. The Salmon Kamikaze was okay. The rolls were wider as in diameter, but thin. Still good size and it tasted okay. The Dynamite Explosion was a little disappointing. I had a feeling that they gave me a regular Dynamite roll by error. There were no topping (Salmon & Avocado) as described in the app nor did it match the picture. I was really looking forward to this one. The downside of ordering a delivery is that we just have to eat what's delivered. Not like we can send it back as if we were at the restaurant. Also, no wasabi, soy sauce nor chopsticks were included even though I had asked for utensils. Good thing I had some...

Have been here a few times and their poke bowls are absolutely delicious. Their sushi is really good too. I would recommend the salmon bowl, it tastes so creamy, fresh and hits the spot. They do take a bit of time with their orders tho so you might have to wait longer than expected.

I have only had one unpleasant experience where they messed up my order (gave me the wrong ingredients and protein) even tho I saw them type it all into their system and on the receipt. I’m not sure if that was just a bad day for them or what but there was also a hair in my bowl so I was really upset with all the mistakes and that combined and had to go all the way back and they were accommodating and made me another bowl and gave a refund for the other one. I appreciated that.

Overall, I still like them and would go again. It ends up costing around $20 (+tip) for a bowl so know that but their ingredients...
