Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

This pizza joint sucks. Me along with my husband and 9 year old son had been to this joint on 18th May, Saturday for lunch and ordered garlic bread and Butter Chicken Pizza. The 1st thing that was served to us is the garlic bread which had I guess 6 slices and all the slices were completely burnt on 1 side and that side was purposely at the bottom so we did not understand that the garlic bread was burnt. We turned all the slices and returned to the server and asked for fresh slices. Then came the Butter Chicken pizza that had stale toppings and cheese. The moment I ate the pizza, I felt like vomiting. We brought this to their notice and the cook started arguing with me that he is running this store for 20 years and never anyone has complained but if you guys read their previous reviews you will see that this store had roach infestation and people have brought this up. The cook asked us what we wanted and we asked for a replacement pizza not the Butter Chicken one. The 2nd pizza was served and that too sucked and tasted stale. After coming home, my son and I had severe food poisoning that my son had to be taken to CHEO emergency and get ultasound done due stomach upset and severe pain. This is unacceptable and would never go to such joints that argue and tell their customer that you must be from Toronto, so you are complaining. Well, I am not from Toronto and live here in Ottawa and Toronto people will definitely complain if this is your service and food. People please be very careful and my suggestion is not to eat anything from this joint and bring this up to the City of Ottawa's notice for an urgent inspection of this joint....

Do not ordering from pizza pizza on somerset they like to help themselves to their own tips. they will ask you to sign the receipt leaving tip blank simply cause that day you didn't have enough to tip. the driver helps himself and owner who delivers puts whatever tips he likes.. i decided to deliver on Aug 13th 2024 I order from there for my partner... this time It was was different driver I refused to give a tip cause I what's been getting ripped off by the owner doing same thing if he doesn't like the tip you give he will change put what he wants so I just signed the receipt Leaving tip blank cause they like to steal money from you this new delivery guy helped him self to a tip noticed my bank this morning I called pizza pizza company put it In a complaint about the somerset pizza pizza owner and delivery drivers stealing money helping themselves to there own amount tip this disgusting behavior there are people struggling and you having disgusting company like this that steals from people they should be ashamed.. do not trust this company! I spoke to someone from pizza pizza company put in a complaint they saw themselves that delivery guy helped himself to a tip they apologizes for behavior and are returning my funds that was taken from my account.

I guess they thought I wouldn't find out but noticed when I checked my bank account today... so please becareful with the pizza pizza on somerset st west they take your...

Owefull bad blooded staff. Specially main chef and his pal the big bearded ols man with hazel eyes from Asghanistan.............mmmm

I delivered some pizza for them and i had the worst experience....specially with the zack squaches from M.E. They even flat my tire of pure yellosy and hate just because i was making better tips than them. I just know custumer service , be cordial, polite and smile...something this S.N. don't know anything about..

Also the explotation to the poor workers there. Last but not least they have people with mental illness or addictions coming with stolen goods in the back door selling food and electronics to pennies to the main chef and the drivers.. Which by the way they are all from Afghanistan.

I give one star just because the jalapenos poppers.. But yeah the true had just hit the fan. Also people dont wash their hands when making food prep (pizza doug, neither wash their vegetables and is all process crap.) :( :( Pdta. Main owner and indian young student are nice..

Oh 🇭🇹 dude in leather jacket is bad blood as well. I had over 12 years experience in the food industry service...i started as a dish waher when i was 15 years old in the upscale restaurant and lounges in South beach Miami Fla...and withing two years and a half i was assistant manager at Roppongi ( sushi and thai Restaurant bar at Lincoln Rd Mall). That is just a taste of my experience so i know what i am talking about.
