Souvlaki Souvlaki — Restaurant in Ottawa

Ordered take out September 25, 2024. Ordered two chicken pita wraps, Greek salads and top sirloin platter. The guy who served me was very nice, that seems to be consistent in the comments. The restaurant however is very sparse and I wouldn’t want to eat there. A woman and a young child were at one of the few tables assembling pizza box’s as this place is also a Milanos. The salad was okay, but the dressing is NOT homemade. Pita wraps were just okay too. The beef platter was not good. Honestly, I wouldn’t even classify it as authentic Greek food. Home fries, very plain rice, and the steak was way overcooked, dry, and laced with some kind of salty spice. Too bad as the menu description...

First off...only reason I said 3 on atmosphere...is that I came when they were brand new and not done the decore and creative part of the look of the place yet! I went into the restaurant and the AC was not working. It was really hot on a really hot day, even though I went at night. They still expected to make someone work that day. Poor guy was sitting at the back of the restaurant with the back door open so that it would be cooler. On days where your AC doesn’t work, close until you get it fixed.
