The girl forgot to give me it. And i asked her where was my miso soup that i ordered… ? she then looked at me funny.. and then had to check back on the receipts.. cause she didnt remember.. even tho literally just ordered. Then, i finally got the miso soup from her. WORST MISO i’ve ever had no tofu in it.. very bland. Tasted like salty water. And the soya sauce they gave me was super super salty bitter. Blah. PLEASSE CHOSE WISELY DONT COME HERE!! This place is defs not truw authentic bland asf sushi and food. And expensive for the quality and portions! We ordered miso soup, spicy tuna maki, spicy salmon maki, dynamite roll. It's not the best sushi I've had but was comparatively good I should mention. What was unanticipated & unacceptable is that for the price they're asking, the pieces were extremely small. We paid around $44 and were still left hungry!

The sushi rolls there are definitely standard size while I pay half the price that I paid here(at Sushi Umi) & return home feeling gastronomically satisfied!!
Unfortunately, my search for a good sushi place in Ottawa...

The cost of certain items such as nigiri seemed prohibitively expensive compared to our expectations so we did not order any. The miso soup was excellent and our food tasted very fresh.
We spent about 50 dollars before gratuities and we felt the amount of food was appropriate. A meal at G&V, which is AYCE is about 60 dollars before gratuities.
We enjoyed our experience at Umi and we will consider eating there again...
