Teriyaki Experience — Restaurant in Ottawa

The establishment's current state is vastly different from my previous experiences. It appears that the hygiene standards have significantly declined, as evidenced by the unclean grill and the presence of food and grease splattered throughout the cooking area. This suggests a lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. I should've turned away at this point.

Furthermore, the cooking method seems to have changed, with the meat and vegetables now being steamed under a lid instead of grilled. This results in a rubbery and gelatinous texture, which is a significant departure from the establishment's previous culinary standards.

The overall taste of the food has also diminished, and what happened to the hot sauce? So gross.

Regrettably, these factors collectively contribute to a negative experience that does not align with the establishment's previous reputation. I will not be returning in the future, as the decline in quality is substantial and the establishment has failed to maintain the standards that once made it a commendable...

We normally have had not good experience at Teriyaki Experience and Express as I belie it was know before. I have not been to one in years and decided to give it a try once again.

Nothing has changed. The operator is more interested in upping your bill than providing you good service and food that is palatable and tasty.

First charging me wrong even though the menu board said an amount and charging me more. Then when asked if I can get a glass of tap water, she charges me for a bottle of water. I asked for just mixed veggies but gave me tofu and charged me for it.

Then the food - had no taste even though it was doused in liquid (which seemed watered down) and still no flavour. The quantity was not even good for half the price I paid ($11+). I would have paid less than $2 for a bagel and would be better. The only good thing was there was...

I’m disappointed I love getting food from here but the fact is this time I didn’t get a fair portion as I got it to go. I normally unable to finish it but today there wasn’t enough I’m still very hungry as the to go is a small portion and yet they charge for there regular portion and the price has gone up as well. Sorry this is the last time I will buy from there or any other teriyaki experience place. Not worth the funds I paid.
