I called to order pick up. The woman on the phone was rushing me and not helpful. When I went to pick it up I was not greeted nicely, and once again rushed. When I asked for extra hoisin it seemed to upset her. She told me there were two already in the bag (lie). That's just the kicker. I asked for "traditional beef pho" with chicken added. As well as chicken beef and shrimp vermicelli which she said they didn't have.... ? The quality of the food was very poor. The pho wasn't at all what we asked for. We got beef balls? And the chicken looked like it was purchased from giant tiger. Very rubbery. Even the spring rolls were sub par. Hard to mess up. All in all. One of the worst Vietnamese food experiences up to date. Go the extra few minutes to China town.

The largest table in the place was taken up with a large plant and cleaning products. There was another taken up with dirty dishes and a pitcher of water with a handful of chopsticks in it. Through our whole meal it was not cleared up. Despite it being slow, our table had to ask for water. We ordered the Vietnamese coffee iced, which came premixed and tasted weak and without condensed milk. For food we had grilled chicken, beef and pork which tasted good, but the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy. There was also a potted plant behind us that was held up by a hockey stick and had a porcelain cup in its dirt. It was an interesting choice.

Very strange place, the name is Vietnamese kitchen but all of the employees speak Chinese (Cantonese). Food is average, especially a bowl of pho, which is plain and not a lot of meat in it. Prices are okay, but with respect to quality, definitely a big discrepancy. I'd recommend if you just crave Asian food and are within walking distance, otherwise find someplace else.

If you’re into mediocrity this is the place for you. I don’t eat out often but wife thought we should treat kids to a dinner out and she already took them here before and they apparently liked it. So we didn’t have a reservation but they took us in anyway. We settled in and quickly ordered our food. So far so good. Our apps came in: I ordered shredded pork spring rolls and they were the best thing off the entire meal. However the pork seems to resemble burnt bacon (they were clearly/literally after my heart). My daughter’s egg rolls were completely overlooked (to a point of being dark brown ashy colour), they tasted as expected. My son had dumplings which looked ok but were super super salty or had way too much MSG in them… Either way not impressed thus far. Mains came and both our kids ordered pho which resembled more something made by someone that didn’t care. It was overly salty too. I had chow mein which was blah with 2 pieces of chicken 2 overcooked shrimps and 2 rubbery pieces of octopus… The sauce was super sweet and the noodles were half burned (crispy). Wife had stir fried veg with some rice… best meal of all of mains.. Overall, in my professional opinion (as a trainer chef) this was resembling of cheap Chinese takeout I used to get at 3am on the way home from bars. Meh!...

My wife and I ordered Vietnamese spring rolls, wong tongs, and pho. We were seated at a table right under the vent that blew cold air so already, the experience did not start well. The overall quality of the food was not good. The restaurant is called "Vietnamese Kitchen" but the Vietnamese food that we ordered was not good. The shrimp in my spring roll still had with tails on it and my wife's pho had pieces of carrots in it clearly from another dish that we did not order but the soup did not really taste like what you would expect at other legit pho restaurants. The wong tongs were ok though. Honestly, if the restaurant is called "Vietnamese Kitchen", people expect Vietnamese food and not Chinese food otherwise, don't advertise the restaurant to be Vietnamese. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we won't be going back again. For Vietnamese food, go to...
