Disappointed with KFC's Tuesday Special Experience

We visited KFC tonight (Tuesday) at around 9:25 PM, excited for the Tuesday Special Combo (2-piece chicken with fries), which our family of 8 was looking forward to. However, what happened next was extremely disappointing and it happened twice with us.

As soon as we placed our order for 8 Tuesday Specials, both the cashier and the cook looked visibly annoyed and surprised. We were told they could only serve 4 combos because they “didn’t have enough chicken.” The tone and body language clearly suggested that they simply didn’t want to cook more at that hour, rather than it being an actual shortage.

This is baffling. KFC, a restaurant known for chicken, running out of chicken 90 minutes before closing? It makes no sense. What exactly is the team planning to serve until closing time?

More than anything, the experience felt disrespectful. The staff’s attitude made us feel unwelcome, and as paying customers, that’s incredibly disheartening. We left feeling disappointed and a little hurt. This is not the kind of service or attitude anyone should receive, especially from a well-established brand like KFC.

We hope this feedback is taken seriously, and future customers are treated with more respect regardless of the time...

there has not been a single time I've ordered from here where my order was correct and my fries weren't stale, if you order dark meat only you better bet you're getting at least one piece of white meat, and on the flip side an order of white meat only came with the majority dark meat. the pieces you get are tiny and mostly bone.

a few years back i learned from someone who worked in the kfc in Kincardine (before it shut down) that they changed the way they cut the chicken to get more pieces out of a single bird, which was noticeable at the time but shrinkflation was hitting everything and the change made i believe 2 more pieces so the sizes of the pieces still weren't too bad. it was a few years after the store in Kincardine closed that i moved to Owen Sound, but either this franchise specifically is cutting the chicken to get twice as many pieces out of it or kfc as whole really screwed up changing the standard for how to divide the chicken again.

save yourself some money and just get popeyes, you pay basically the same price for significantly better quality and...

What I really wanted they didnt have and i dont mean one thing I mean i asked for three different things and what i got was we dont have that we dont have that what the hell eh lol jks im not upset but i am because one of the things i tried to order she says well i got two wings and two strips which is ok...but i also tried to order a 5 piece hot wings instead she says i can give u 4 wings and a chk strip for 13.something but i said 5 hot wings r only 6....like what the heck that 1 strip is 7 bucks holy man ok ok im done crying lmfao but i F-ing love my kfc but after tonight that sh@t is a bit much but maybe its just the workers trying to make a few extra bucks on the side right right anywho who knows but i will not spend another dollar there again and trust me i spent alot of money there especially since i had a baby and now hes grown enough to enjoy some kfc too which happens to be his favz .....MAN i cant hardly wait OMG for POPEYES to come to...
