Tangled Garden 2.0 — Restaurant in Perth

We decided to give this restaurant a second chance....big mistake. A year ago we came and sat on their patio in front of their restaurant while touring the town. We ordered a sandwich and spaghetti. The spaghetti was the most disgusting I had ever tasted, it was made with pizza sauce. The sandwich was Meh.

August 17, we went and decided to try it again. Firstly, there were at least 100 flies in the restaurant. It was so bad that I asked for a flyswatter, they apologized and did nothing. We had to swat the flies off us while we ate.

We ordered fish and Chicken parm. Well, the fish was totally dry a flavourless and the chicken parm was covered with cheese and pizza sauce. We were hungry so we ate but was not enjoyed.

The bill was given to us and when I looked at the total it was $156.00 plus tax!!! When I added up the bill on my phone, it was $50.00 more than it should be before tax!!!

I showed them the mistake at the cash and they checked it and then mentioned it might be because of their long nails. Once again, this was not good food and not a nice environment. Too bad there was not a manager to witness and help with the problems, It could be a good restaurant like their sister restaurant...

We’ve enjoyed dining in and grabbing takeout from Tangled Garden 2.0 in Perth more times than we can count, and it never disappoints! The cozy atmosphere and fresh, delicious food always hits the mark. Portions are generous—I almost always leave with a box of leftovers. My hubbie is a regular with his soccer buddies and swears the food and service are top-notch.

My friend and I had reservations (recommended as they are busy at lunch, though we have never had to wait more than 10 mins) for yesterday for lunch, and we spent a couple of hours catching up without ever feeling rushed. I ordered chicken fingers tossed in honey garlic sauce, but after a busy evening the night before, they were out of the sauce. Frank, the owner, kindly offered to whip it up from scratch—what a treat! They were absolutely amazing, and I had enough leftovers for another meal.

Went out for dinner on a Tuesday night to check out the new resturant in town! Atmosphere and decor in the resturant was amazing and very welcoming as well as the waitress who served us and checked on periodically asking if we wanted drink refills etc, she was very nice.

I myself got the Knarfbiscut burger with fries, which was outstanding. Soft cibatta bread with perfectly cooked chicken breast and bacon with the works and spicy mayo. Also to note the portion sizes were great for the prices! The fries were crispy and well seasoned and made for a very nice meal.

My other guest had the chicken souvlaki platter and also commented on the quality of the meat (from my point of view it looked amazing).

Personally I love visiting The Tangled Garden in Westport and the 2.0 in Perth is a great extension of that location. This is absolutely one of the greatest lunch and dinner spots in the area and I call all to give this...
