The pictures tells you all !! Where are the2x4 ounces of patties! Nope not there ! Meat is over salted , full of garlic and had lots of pepper. This is not mentioned on Uber Eats menu of this restaurant. Meat smelt off. Is that why all the salt and spices ?? To cover up that meat not being good. ?? Look at the minimal slice of onions , wilted lettuce and tomatoe slice on top of it !! Aweful . I can not believe this restaurant allowed this to happen and send this kind of food out ! SHAME ON THEM!! I received an email by Uber Eats saying they reviewed my order and they will not refund me 30$ ( price of 2 burgers - which is supposed to be. BOGO and fees) never asked for a picture or my feed back through email. I called in to support and they said I will receive an email from them which I did , they said no refund. I did not even have the chance to explain my issue through email etc..… so I resent my email and picture of the food. I am waiting for a response from them ! Do not order from this restaurant ( not worth the money )& through Uber Eats they will not stand behind you maybe ! My situation was not handled properly and I will give an update after I receive an email from Uber Eats… I am very disappointed and frustrated right now … money does not grow on trees and especially with food inflation and shrink inflation! This is the reason for my review.
UPDATE Uber Eats resolved my situation by sending me a full refund. So that’s good but I still will not order from 6ixside burger. I will not be doing...
Read moreFirst time trying this place and I have been waiting for a long time to give this place a go. Unfortunately, probably not the best first impression. I purchased the Liberty burger which is 6 oz burger with deep fried encrusted portobello with cheese (think the option at burger priest). My wife got the Eatonville burger. We also bought a poutine to share.
Overall, the Liberty was quite disappointing. The deep fried portobello looked like it was made quite a few hours ago and was sitting in a warmer until a poor soul purchased him. The burger itself was a good size for the price but the patty was dry. the burger tasted below average but you can tell that if it was fresh it would have been really good. I was really looking forward to my burger and expected better. My wife’s burger was roughly the same reaction. Her burger wasn’t that good but knows that this place is capable of more.
The only reason I’m giving this a two star is because of the poutine which was average at best. Dark gravy with thick cut fries. It was alright, but not something I would be driving back for. For $7, it’s quite expensive considering the size of what you get.
Would I give this place a second chance? Not sure yet. If it wasn’t for everybody else’s reviews of this place, I probably wouldn’t have tried it again. But these reviews make me believe this place can do better and my experience was...
Read moreWasn’t sure what exactly to expect; I’ve seen them called the best burger but that’s very subjective and in my opinion hard to do when it’s halal (my ideal burger has pork bacon). Decided to drop in on a late night return from Toronto as the options were slim.
Inside wasn’t the cleanest, I’ll admit. Set up was strange, washrooms weren’t clean and the loud zap from a bug getting fried on the big zapper was definitely something. Ordered a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and a Cheeseburger as well as an order of Messy Fries. Total was close to $50 but I think the Messy Fries were like $16 which was also the most expensive burger. The small burger pricing is pretty good and honestly the prices of the burgers are comparable.
Taste was great; burgers taste fresh and home made, crispy smashburger edges, nice brioche bun. Very filling, the 2 of us couldn’t finish. Now on to Beef Bacon… I don’t care for it. It’s not a good replacement and next time I’d opt out of it. It was like a salty strip of thin beef jerky. I thought there’d be some flavouring replicating pork but nope.
The Messy Fries were excellent and honestly I’d probably just get that next time as it’s filling enough.
Price isn’t the worst but can add up. Burger pricing as mentioned are pretty solid. It will take a while to learn all the names (they are Toronto neighbourhoods) but it’s pretty straightforward when...
