McDonald's — Restaurant in Powell River

This is the most disgusting McDonald’s I have ever seen. We came here on vacation, and on our first visit, we ordered takeout. The chicken patties were completely burned—we had to throw the food away. We decided to give it another chance, thinking maybe it was just a mistake, and while the food was okay the second time, we witnessed something even more disturbing: staff were handling customers’ food with their bare hands.

This is basic food hygiene—employees should never touch food directly without gloves or utensils. On top of that, the cleanliness of the place was terrible, and the attitude of the staff made us feel like we were a burden just for being there.

They didn't get our order correct and when I told the lady at the window she ignored me expecting my to drive away, when I got her attention she argued with me that we didn't order the item we missed and told us that if we wanted it that bad we would have to go around again. I have NEVER received worse treatment from a McDonalds before and after working for a different location in another city and knowing the protocol of when you miss an item I am apaulled at this location and how they treat thier costumers.
