Mora — Restaurant in Quebec

Overall, we appreciated our experience at Mora. The service from Charles at the bar was excellent. He knew well the menu and was able to describe each plates and give us suggestions and wine pairing options as well. With that being said, I left a note on my reservation specifying that it was my partner’s birthday and no one acknowledged it which is deceiving especially for a restaurant of that level. Also, the food was good but nothing really impressed me whatsoever. There was a slight lack of flavors in all the plates we got and the polpette were really dry, I wouldn’t recommend. For that reason, I would say that the value for money at this location was not excellent but you come here mostly for the atmosphere which was one of the highlights. The place is beautifully decorated, cozy and intimate perfect for a date night. Our place at the bar was not the best as we were really in the face of the barman so I would suggest to reserve a little table for two instead. The drinks were excellent and the wine list as a lot of options to choose to. Overall, the experience was a 7/10 for me. Thanks again...

My first time here- first time in Quebec as well. Over my two week stay here this was by far my favourite restaurant. From the design, to the menu, to the atmosphere everything was stellar.

Bartender was kind enough to explain the menu to me in English. Never felt like my lack of French left me unknowing. Wine was lovely. Olives 10/10, focaccia 10/10, duck confit 10/10. Truly felt taken care of, and had one of the best meals of my life. Will dream about it till I can come back!

My only note would be to caution staff to be careful when clearing plates. Twice I was not fully done with my food before it was taken away from me. Did not get to have the best bite for last.

This was a restaurant that looked very promising and it held up to some extent. The atmosphere was nice and staff were amazing but the food was very disappointing. My brother ordered the Carbonara and while portions were great, the sauce tasted off and the sauce to pasta portions were not as great. I have never not liked a Carbonara pasta, but this is a first. I myself ordered the risotto and was also disappointed, the rice great but the meat was extremely bland. My plate came lukewarm-cold and both lacked salt. The price point was way too expensive for this experience. It's sad to say this was the worst restaurant we ate during...
