Francophonie Park — Attraction in Quebec

Nice park for picnic and stuff. We came here on a sunny day, getting food from a nearby restaurant and enjoying it under the tree. There's parking available on the street right next to it, so it's good. Just one problem - no dustbins around. It's very close to the National Assembly and all the major attractions in Quebec. So if you can find a parking you can park for a longer time and visit the other attractions as well. Definitely...

Le parc de la francophonie est emblématique de la colline parlementaire. Le parc est né à la suite du redécoupage du quartier lors de la construction d'édifices gouvernementaux québécois durant les années 1960 et 1970. Il fut nommé dans un premier temps parc Grande Allée puis rebaptisé parc de la Francophonie le 21 mars 1995.

On y retrouve un pigeonnier ainsi qu'un bassin d'eau.
