Truly a great experience! Make sure you book.

Sinsemilla has the concept where they have a set 5-course-menu, which seems to be changed every month. Sam and his colleague are the only two who work and manage Sinsemilla, so you have to keep in mind that they are 2 to manage a small restaurant with about 30 seats where they serve a 5-course-menu and take the time to explain what is being served.

When we arrived, Sam very nicely greeted us. One could feel that he is passionate about what he does and is happy to share their creations. As we sat down, we were given the menus and Sam made sure we had all questions aside before deciding what to order. They have a small à-la-carte selection but personally I would stick to the menu if you are a curious eater who likes to try out new things. We also opted for the drink-set. Each course is accompagnied by a wine of Sam and the chef's choice.

As the dishes arrived one by one, Sam explained to us what every piece in the dish was and served the paired wine, for which he also offered an explenatiom if why they went for that specific wine.

We were in for a treat! Each dish was unique in its own way. Flavours, textures and aesthetics were all lovely. The wines really enhanced the flavours of the dishes and vice versa, so we were happy we ordered their drinks-pairing. To be honest, I could write pages of how good and new the 5-course-menu was. A true culinary journey, led by Sam. He really made our night.

If we really wanted to pick on a few items:

The cutlery was a bit cheap, I think they could probably upgrade to some more "classy" cutlery, despite the very chill atmosphere. They didn't change cutlery between each dish. Considering they are just 2, I think it's fine.

Different wines were served in the same glasses (except red and white). But again, considering they are 2 managing about 30 customers, that's really a small detail that doesn't take away how exceptional we thought Sinsemilla is.

If you are in Québec, don't miss a chance to come here and have a...

Restaurant Sinsemilla proved to be an unforgettable dining experience that catered to every aspect of our visit, making it the perfect spot for both couples and families alike. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service, making us feel at home with our 10-month-old baby.

The restaurant's staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the meal, providing the most suitable seating arrangement for easy maneuvering with a baby in tow. Their friendly demeanor and genuine interest in accommodating our needs made us feel truly welcomed.

The real star of the show, however, was the food. Sinsemilla's menu was a delightful exploration of flavors, full of creative and playful dishes that tickled our taste buds with each bite. It was evident that the chefs put careful thought into crafting a menu that was both inventive and satisfying. The diverse range of options allowed us to explore various tastes and ingredients, and we were pleasantly surprised by how well they executed each dish.

Overall, Restaurant Sinsemilla surpassed our expectations in every aspect. The great service that accommodated our 10-month-old, coupled with the extraordinary culinary experience, made this dining adventure one to remember. If you're seeking a restaurant that values creativity, flavor, and exceptional service, then Sinsemilla should be at the top of your list. We cannot wait to return and explore more of their...

Honestly, I don't know if I've ever been to a better restaurant! From the moment I walked in and were greeted by Sam, my wife and I knew we were in for a treat.

We began with two cocktails, and when I didn't know which one to decide on (because they all sounded amazing) Sam asked what I would be eating and recommended a cocktail to pair with it. It was the Red Haze and it was this beautiful, balanced gin cocktail that delighted the palette and disappeared quite quickly.

My wife got the Bloody Marley which was a very unique twist on the Bloody Mary/Caesar and she said it's the best she's ever had!

As for the food, this is when we met Bob, who presented us with two gorgeous displays of culinary passion that I haven't seen in many years. The flavours were incredible! I've never had so many textures work so well together and the flavours complemented each other on each bite!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! This is not a drill people, this isn't a restaurant to skip on. This will change your culinary view of what's possible when two people who care about your dining experience take it to the next level.

Mark my words, this will be on Canada's Top 100 best restaurants before you know it.

Edit: Went back again last night with two friends and ordered the Mega Munchies! Best experience yet. You get one of everything off the menu and it feeds 4 people perfectly! Definitely...

A strange small restaurant with a small menu located in the city center. The name of the restaurant and dishes refers to the topic of cannabis use. The cook tries to experiment and sometimes it turns out well, sometimes raises questions. I didn’t like three types of fresh oysters with different additives. In one case, a large amount of vinegar with onion simply kills the whole taste and burns the mouth, in the second option, in addition to a large amount of ice, it is not possible to feel some taste in principle, the third option is not a good combination of flavors. Apparently, they tried to make fire and ice oysters, but it didn’t work out very well. I liked the rest of the dishes, but the choice is not big. The size of the dishes is more like snacks than basic dishes. You need to take at least 2 dishes to eat. We tried strawberry dessert. Another strange dish with a strange selection of ingredients . With cocktails and wine, the bill turned out to be large.
